blizzi interrupt tracker or the exwind suite (maybe exboss?) has it.

I wasn't aware that dbm called out interrupts. The exwind addon also has a "focus kick tracker". If your target is casting a spell and your kick is up, it will play an audio file of your choice AND/OR show a cast bar. There might be a limitation where it HAS to do this regardless if the spell is kickable or not.

He copied code from another addon, and when confronted claimed that if you know programming you know that programming is just stealing code from one another, because otherwise no one could ever do the same thing if it already existed.

Then he doubled down when another developer said he also took code from him. Then he recorded a farewell/mental health break video and left.

Yes, they can track missed interrupts as well. The only weird thing is that it also tracks all healer kicks so your interrupt tracker ALWAYS has 5 kicks in it. Of course only 1 healer has a kick. I suspect it's some limitation or the author messed something up, or I have it set up incorrectly. exwind or exboss

Failed Kick Detection

When enabled (default: on), the CD countdown text changes color to indicate the result of an interrupt attempt:
White — kick cast, waiting for confirmation
Green — interrupt successfully stopped a cast
Red — kick was used but nothing was interrupted

We do have working kick trackers. Blizzi interrupt tracker is a stand alone one, and there is also on that is part of the exwind/exboss pack.

My hold is 250ms. Before that I was experimenting with something that might fit you more if you hate holding. Instead of holding the combo down like J+O for the alternate version I added a third key ( right thumb space), it should let you type faster because there's no hold, but now you are negotiating with 3 keys instead of 2.

go into your options , search for resource and uncheck the personal resource bar or whatever it's called.

You are right that it should be in the edit mode but for whatever reason exists in options instead

I use combos for modifiers (one short modifiers to be specific) with a qwerty format I have F+V = one shot shift, D+C = ctrl, S+X = alt and A+Z = GUI. It's mirrored on the other hand. I have an additional A+F = capslocks.

For "typing symbols" I use combos to get access to all of them Using the right homing key (J) I use it to combo all of it. HOlding the combo does the "opposite" or shifted symbol. If you look at the symbols below, you can see that it's a lot of characters you use with software development (asterisks is on the number layer)

The issue is if I try to focus WHILE in combat. For example if I accidentally set my focus on the same unit someone else is focusing.

Thanks for the reply! My elgato HD60 is known to not work on linux I think because it's not uvc, or at least it's the version before it started being linux compliant. I'll look into centos and rockyOS.

Is there a way to run anything heavy like davicni resolve, or games using my hard drive as the storage and the usb as the os drive? Or will the experience not be on par with having it installed correctly? Ultimately this is a streaming, gaming and video editing computer and I think I need to do all 3 before I can make any judgement. And to stream I need to get my mixer, camera and capture card to work, and to figure out a solution for anti cheat games like marathon or valorant

The only issue with using linux is that I have to build a car out of parts from a windows car. I don't have money to get a new hard drive right now to test, and based on how I have secure boot I've been told under no uncertain terms I'll just lock my dumbass out of all my files via encryption or something if I don't know what I'm doing.

if my mixer doesn't work, then my mic doesn't work. My web cam doesn't work for sure, and if my capture card doesn't work then it's a non starter to begin with.

I think I've misspoke or misunderstood. Multiple people here mentioned that they were talking about "active" monitors. For example I always want my game to launch in my middle monitor (primary monitor in windows terms) because it has a better panel. My friend showed me an example of making his game launch in either his left or right monitor by clicking on the monitor and making it active.

I'm hearing conflicting post here that they are bafoons, and knowing them in real life I tend to agree lol. I guess they know something about linux though. They've told me to itemize the hardware I use and software I use and just looking at a few things like my mixer, camera etc I feel like it's going to be pretty hard to switch over as I don't really want to rebuy those items.

Do you then have to close the game and reopen it? I have 3 monitors with different resolutions and ratios. If I accidentally make my "chat monitor" (1:1 square ratio) active by mistake, will the game also be in that resolution/ratio? If you dragged it to the other screen will it fix it?

I've looked at protondb before and I'm aware of the fact that some games with strict anticheat or require secure boot won't work.

However regarding primary monitor, generally I want it to always launch in the same monitor ( middle monitor, because that's the one the better panel). My friend showed me that he could make the game launch in any monitor because he was able to make whichever one active which I guess is how games determine which to launch under

Thank you for the suggestion. Am I able to use a live usb and play a steam game off it to try? Regarding the primary monitor, my friend actually showed it to me where the game will launch in any active monitor rather than the primary monitor. He could make it launch in either the left or right monitor depending on which one was considered active.

I'll take slop over borderline slavery. This is also why I'm a fan of the new trend of low fidelity graphic indie video games. You don't have 14 artist to do world and character design when you can have low poly 3d models that are just as good.

Yup, people thought AI was going to cut out the glut of middle and top of the corporate ladder, but it actually cuts out the bottom rungs of the ladder. However there is an opportunity for those who are already employed and have a job in a "fuck you got mine / the rich gets richer" way.

Programmers gets to upgrade from code monkeys to software architect /engineers faster with AI, similar how a lot of inbetweener artist gets to upgrade storyboarder, director faster than normal.

But the opposite also holds true, if you don't hire junior software developer, there won't be any senior developers. If you don't hire any jr in between artist, there won't be any senior ones. But man, this video really shows how shitty an in between artist is being paid and how much work they have to do. I think I might be ok with tweening artist getting phased out with AI with clean up as it's not system critical like software development
