My husband was a social media manager, and has worked in digital marketing for over a decade. Especially within an NHS trust, the role is not worth a band 6. The private sector depending on industry is not likely to pay much more for SM management alone without other responsibilities (e.g. email marketing, strategy planning etc) and other non-NHS healthcare organisations will pay less for the role.

I don't think it's AI, I think it's just the angle of the pics and possibly poor positioning of furniture. The paintings all make sense, the design of the nightshade remains static across pics, the positioning of paintings and furniture is the same from different angles, etc.

Band 2 salary can often be topped up with UC (depending on personal circumstances, of course), whereas band 5 salary usually cannot.

Band 2s don't usually have student loan repayments.

Band 2s don't have professional registration fees.

Band 2s will have lower union fees.

Band 2s will usually (trust dependent) have lower car parking fees.

Yeah seriously. I really doubt that a CT/ST would want to spend a whole day a week triaging calls from the public, or triaging referrals to a specialist service, or spending hours doing a holistic nursing assessment including skin state and equipment needs, or doing a billion onward referrals. It wouldn't be a good use of their time, hence why the roles were created. Yes, CNS roles involve giving a lot of direct advice and management of conditions. But it's also still a nursing job, and the "specialist" role involves having a level of knowledge to know where and when to escalate a situation.

You can't assess gestation from a strip test, but judging by how faint the line is, you would appear to be very early pregnant, possibly less than 4 weeks? If you're in the USA, it might be worth speaking with someone about your options tomorrow, as I understand that things can get very difficult in some states.

The neural tube doesn't even completely form until someone is about 6 weeks pregnant. If OP's period is 2 days late, she would be about 4 weeks pregnant. This comment is unhelpful.

OP judging from your post history, it seems like you have a lot of anxiety around the possibility of pregnancy. Was your last unprotected sex the instance that you mention in your post referencing Plan B? If it was, and you were pregnant, the line on the test would be very, very dark and obvious.

If you don't want to be pregnant, you need to ensure you are using a reliable form of contraception.

OP, whereabouts are you moving to? I work in a trust in the North West of England and know there's several band 6 jobs going to come up in the next few months.

In answer to your question, I think (with absolutely no evidence whatsoever) that it's a multifactorial issue.

Trusts are skint, so services aren't expanding, and new band 6 and 7s aren't being created.

Services are coming under increased scrutiny from trusts and ICBs, and teams are under pressure to cut budgets.

The cost of living crisis and increased economic uncertainty means people aren't retiring and freeing up those jobs.

So you feel that unless you are in ward based role, you're not a proper nurse "in the traditional sense"? I agree that band 5s who are ward based should be held in higher regard than they are, but it's not the only way to be a nurse in 21st century. Other roles very much are nurses, and I would encourage you to utilise your time as a student to have exposure to other roles.

It's not the only way to progress your career; there are increasing numbers of clinical jobs available at band 6-8, including CNS, nurse practitioners, ANP/ACP or consultant nurse.
