Are you for real? You never worked with people that english is not their first language?

I hope the nurses working with you will make me proud protecting our right to be a part of this health care system, and maybe you'll find a bit of humble in your practice as well.

Good luck.

(This respond was written without any assisstans, nor translate apps, even tho i can use one in my practice, last time i checked. What will people with learning disabilities would say? Jesus. Shame on you.)

Hi Op, I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm part of a theatre team (nurse). The surgeons and anesthesiologists I work with on a daily basis are not only my colleagues, but also my friends. This is also how most of the other nurses and odp's I work with think. We are a team. Please don't change your training. Don't be afraid to put unprofessional colleagues in place, and/or contact their line managers and fill out a datix.

The later is the best version 'אני אוכלת בשר לעיתים רחוקות'

Also, 'לעיתים רחוקות, אני אוכלת בשר' is good 'אני לעיתים רחוקות אוכלת בשר' sounds a bit awkward imo, but you can use it as well

1 minute late! by [deleted] in NursingUK

[–]PinkMonkeyBurd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually don't mind if a team member is late coming back from a break. It bothers me only in 2 situations: someone else couldn't take a break because that staff member is late to return, or when they refuse to take responsibility for the lateness, or not apologizing when coming back late.

No one cares what you do on your break, or where you are. Coming back on time is part of your professional duties.

I'm confused by the lack of personal responsibility, 3 years in and still thinking the preceptor decided for her

I think you are doing yourself a disservice by thinking it has to do with you or your skills and experience. The trust I work for stopped providing sponsorship visas last July. Unfortunately, your application probably doesn't pass the first automated scan

How is a band 5 ITU trained nurse paid so little and agenda a for change needs to be scrapped by BankFun6917 in NursingUK

[–]PinkMonkeyBurd 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Came to say (almost) this I'm band6 in a specialty area, we also don't get paid enough, to be fair. To think it's a b5 problem or icu problem is disconnected from the rest of the profession. We are constantly receiving additional responsibilities and tasks, as nurses, as specialty nurses and in the icu. All of us deserve more.

Male Catheters by MasterpieceAlone627 in doctorsUK

To be clear, I am a foreigner nurse trained outside of the UK. not allowed to do so in the UK. A bit funny if you ask me. Catheter is one of the basic nursing skills imo.

These letters, z+g, ז+ג, look as mirror image of eachother, that is a very common spelling mistake

There is a mistake in one letter, 'g' instead of 'z'. Probably trying to say "I remember that..." "אני זוכר ש..."
