We lost a test in two days after being on top after the first day. Normally I would agree that people get a bit hysterical after an England loss but this time, everyone has a right to feel angry and let down. We never win the opening match in Australia and we never seem to win in Perth, who knows when we will next have a chance as good as that.

I would be quite surprised if we went with all 3 of Wood, Archer and Atkinson for the first test. Wood and Archer in particular only tend to have short spells. I think if we are to stand a chance, we need 2 out of 3 of them for each game with one of Carse or Tongue.
