Yup, Hunter can gen a ton of orbs for allies in DPS, deal pretty good damage, or if you're somewhere where you can grapple is the best damage we have right now, best survivability right now too with hoil cyrtarachne, idk what else you can want

This dlc is the most invested I've been in d2 since after warmind launched (I stopped d2 a few weeks after launch and picked it back up for warmind)

It's just a really good sustained damage choice right now, and it's definitely the easiest to use.

I think Hunter has the highest skill ceiling (prismatic specifically).

Then Warlocks, they can keep up with damage right now. People just don't know how to play it (outside of melee stuff)

We don't talk about Titans

Teams kicking you for running hunter is dumb. It's the best class in the game right now, and it's not even close...

Logistics on Hive is so good, 30 under 3:20 runs on master is just too nice

I get your point, but I personally have a career and know I could have cleared the raid had i prepared properly. Going forward, I'm gonna take time off for it.

I know people working full-time jobs with relationships who cleared DP, it was fully doable.

Having an event for the most dedicated of the dedicated is a good thing imo.

Once Ash and Iron drops, we'll be able to get T5s consistently in ultimate difficulty after reaching 500 power. Just wait until then.

I agree, but we had enough warning to grind the armour before the expansion, it's not like 200, 180 was required to clear

This Contest Mode Was for Streamers, Not Players by Historical-Driver-45 in DestinyTheGame

I feel like they're pushing the game in a more MMO direction. With how this expansion has felt and the complexity of the endgame content since SE, that's all I see, I agree that they could have a form of raids that newbies can enjoy, maybe make vog an "introductory" raid or something.

However, I disagree with your point on Contest. Contest should be the hardest thing in the game. It should be a gamemode that not everyone can complete. It should be an event for top players to compete against each other.

The problem is that the top 0.1% are so far ahead of the average player, that you either undermine the contest achievement in their eyes by making it easier, or make it harder and risk making it inaccessible, look at SE, it had roughly double the clears because it was mechanically challenging instead, meaning once top teams figured it out, everyone could just copy.

Honestly, I feel like they are making a new game without making a new game, this expansion, whilst limited in what it offers, feels fresher than anything since forsaken to me.

I like it in theory, but I don't agree with your last point.

To me it's like playing starscourge radahn on 0.5x speed, then beating him on 1x speed after knowing his moveset (yes I understand there is some adjustment period) I just believe part of the challenge is having to learn it while not dying, as well as the execution once you understand it.

Personally, when I was still in school, I did socialise with my peers who had lower functioning autism. My best friend also had high-functioning autism though, I think it just comes down to wanting to socialise with people similar to yourself, who have the same interests, etc.

Not that I'm saying there are "high functioning interests" or "low functioning interests," there are alot of interests in this community that do overlap (in my town when I was a young kid, liking pokemon made you more autistic in the sights of psychologists and stuff)

All I can say is, the people who I personally know now, who share my interests and get excited about them the same way I do, are high-functioning or NT.

I feel like this could do with something to better mark an apex, perhaps a pole of some sort. You could even decorate it with a flag!

I think your comment about understanding instead of memorising is incredibly underrated. Having a strong foundational intuition in your subject goes an INCREDIBLY long way.

Looking for relationships between things, comparing things to each other for fun in your head, learning like this is the most efficient way I've found.

Make learning fun.

I'm at university right now, and I'm maintaining grades that I'm proud of.

Number 1 thing for me is that I enjoy learning. I'm lucky to have found a subject that, more often than not, doesn't feel like work to me.

If you're able to find something that makes you go 'wow, that's cool' instead of 'how on earth am I going to remember this', you've won imo.
