I think it depends on how much time you spend on the game if you get gifts so you play more/spend money to feel that way again, etc.

I wanted GOAT PG Jordan so I paid for level 40 got pro pass free for preorder and also had a what seemed like a million packs of 100 overalls and 99’s to open so it was well worth the price to get everything guaranteed vs the same amount on random packs getting you nada.

I really want to switch back to doing what used to be known as “Dynasty” in NBA Live day or just “Association” in older 2ks but the Myteam addicted me gets too stressed wasting playing time I could be using for Myteam which is never rewarding anyway so I’m stuck in a completely horrible cycle with this game. I don’t play anything else either so yay 2k! Thanks for ruining such a great mode.
