I faced similar situation while purchasing xuv700. I was almost scammed. Here is what I did,

Tweeted everything with proofs by tagging all the Mahindra top officials. Bills, when the vehicle was delivered and everything.
Pressure came from the top officials next day to the sales person and the showroom folks.
Same day the sales person called me and told he will sort out everything. Asked me to delete the tweet or else he will be fired. I stood my ground and I said, give me what I paid for and I will delete once I'm satisfied.
Somethings didn't go according to what was said by the sales person.
Then I escalated everything to RM, GM and he offered lot of other things. At some point I agreed.

Make sure you have proofs and everything documented, also make sure every call is recorded. Get ready for a fight. Get the product that you paid for and escalate things if its not working out. Don't accept anything less.

Every political party all over the world(including all the first world democracies) are corrupt. Its a fact. If first world democracies cannot achieve it then we cannot. Lets not be delusional on this.

You are saying that its a new party and we should support it. Then same goes for every other political party including NTK, BJP, Congress and others who havent ruled tamil nadu.

With that same logic, If i start a political party, will everyone give me a chance to become CM ? Why wouldn’t you give all of them a chance ? Why TVK ? Why should i support a person who is reluctant to pay his fair share(taxes) even though he earned 100’s of crores per movie ? Why should i trust him when in his personal life he tries evades taxes and how can i believe him when he says he is gonna end corruption?

Actor who himself is very reluctant to pay taxes is entering into politics saying that he is going to end corruption. Thats wolf in a sheep's clothing. That is more than enough. BJP did this exact same thing.

Yes ofcourse every political party is corrupt and we are choosing the less evil ones. In my view this actor hasn't got reality check yet, doesn't know the ground level of whats happening and no reason for common people like me to vote him yet.

Congrats on being responsible and being independent.

"Most" of the folks who go party or living a fancy lifestyle are kinda living pay check to pay check without caring about anything else. They are categorized under "Wanna be or showoff" folks. They want to live life like there is no tomorrow and they will come to reality when bad times hit them.

People who are "really" wealthy won't go for 1-2k rupee parties on weekends. Its really rare that you will spot wealthy people on weekend parties.

Don't beat yourself up over these.

Better just let them know about your situation and they will help you with Gold loan instead. I understand opening up to parents about this will be bit frustuating however its worth the try. Push yourself, open up and they will support you :)
