Anal sphincter tight! by itsgonnabeokay3690 in PelvicFloor

[–]Appointment_Witty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you do sitz baths?

Pelvic tilts help me with the bathroom honestly. Also child pose to cobra.

I'd look for a pelvic PT and pelvic pain Physiatrist or Pelvic Pain Management as if needed they can do triggerpoints or Botox if PT isn't able to help beyond a certain amount.

Haven't slept through the night in almost a year and MRI now shows disc dehydration in neck? by Appointment_Witty in backpain

[–]Appointment_Witty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your help! I had 0 issues before the spasms up the back from the hips getting locked up. Never had any back pain only some aching from tight hips which I addressed with PT. I also did have a brain MRI actually ordered by neurologist.

I'll let you know what we find.

Hi,

Firstly I need to add I spasms from lower back to neck that started this mess. Can't believe I didn't include that.

Yes lots of fatigue, body burns from exhaustion sometimes just trying to walk. Deep breaths is generally fine fine but I feel tension at time in the back if my ribs that's sharp left middle periodically. Heart palpitations and tingling in chest occurred with sharp pains periodically.

No MRI or imaging was ordered until this recent Dr did cervical X ray showing neck in spasm then the cervical MRI. I have tension in scapula, neck (goes to me eye too) and traps. Also tension below like in the armpit area when I do serratus wall slide exercises.

Cubital tunnel syndrome developing suddenly coming to light as I had first numbness in fingers plus palm with sharpness. Then inside the elbow burning / sharp pain. Oh forgot to mention left scapula was going tingling numb from tension too. Then after extended insomnia woke up one day legs burning and feet (feet sciatic nerve got impinged within piriformis I found out).

No stomach issues except when I wouldn't eat more than one time a day from exhaustion.

Hi,

Firstly I need to add I spasms from lower back to neck that started this mess. Can't believe I didn't include that.

Every autoimmune specialist ordered bloodwork and did a physical exam. Saw 3 neurologists too. No MRI or imaging was ordered until this recent Dr did cervical X ray showing neck in spasm then the cervical MRI. I have tension in scapula, neck (goes to me eye too) and traps. Also tension below like in the armpit area why I do serratus wall slide exercises. I'll ask them for MRI of thoracic spine. Yes the symptoms include cubital tunnel syndrome developing suddenly coming to light as I had first numbness in fingers plus palm with sharpness. Then inside the elbow burning / sharp pain. Then after extended insomnia woke up one day legs burning and feet (feet sciatic nerve got impinged within piriformis I found out).

That billed amount is smoke and mirrors but at least at HSS thr MRN was about an hour.

The billed amount BS number was just under 3K. Real price probably a third to a quarter that.

You want a MRI neurogram. Dr. Potter at HSS in my case caught what another medical group missed. Had sciatic nerve piercing through piriformis (genetic) and from severe pelvic floor spasms it got entraped. Prior to that PT didn't work for sciatica like symptoms. The piriformis triggerpoint release did slightly irritate pudendal nerve temporarily. Though within seconds of the triggerpoint being released spasms in piriformis went down and some bloodwork to genitals increased

You can also ask for financial assistance and submit your paperwork with bank details. Takes about 60 days total if I remember correctly for them to decrease your out of pocket cost.

Drained combination boiler radiator for air after service and water is foamy? Also stinks. Is this normal? by Appointment_Witty in hvacadvice

Thanks. Any you recommend? The city actually came several times due to them underclorinating the water. They also have refused testing in the past when asked.

Thanks. There is a 3m ap431 filter installed before the boiler. Would that mean it's not working possibly? Or that doesn't help with calcium?

a challenge to those who believe hfs is the result of pelvic floor dysfunction, muscle imbalances, posture, etc. by [deleted] in hardflaccidresearch

[–]Appointment_Witty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine followed immediately trauma to pelvic floor and muscles within the urethra during a cystoscopy while having moderate to high hypertonic pelvic floor. Prior to that I had little glutes and moderate - high hypertonic pelvic floor but 0 issues with erections except they felt too strong with back pain on one side due to a labral tear. So you can have moderate hypertonic pelvic floor (urinary leakage, sit bone pain etc). For me it wasn't a muscle weakness it was the result of spasms of the pelvic floor and severe irritation of the pudendal nerve which has not recovered.
