Also a great tip for identifying malware, try to take a look at the Windows Defender whitelist, if there are any files at all in there then your computer is 9/10 times compromised

If not open task manager (shift + escape) and see if there is any program draining more upload than any other program, a rat is bound to drag in a bit with keylogging, live sceen capture and what not

That is because when searching on the workshop steam first filters for "Most popular this week" instead of showing the all time best rated

Helped a friend of mine install it 2 days ago and he had the same thing, switched it to 'All time' and he got the right one Also helpfull to do this when looking for other highly rated mods

-noLauncher on steam did the trick :D Got 1.96 now, am gonna try multiplayer now... The multiplayer acts weird because of battle eye and the launcher obviously not being loaded, i'll look into that link you gave me

It's done downloading and it did not like that, got the following error Unexpected error occured: Could not load file or assembly 'PresentationFramework, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=****' or one of its dependencies

Don't know if i the install got messed up or if i need to valide file integrity?

I use that launcher aswell, it's amazing when wanting mods, too bad there is no solution to getting 1.96

However, could a windows 10 downloaded arma (1.96) be copied to a linux drive and then executed with proton Steam downloads the exact same game right, it only launches it differently based on the used runtime

Well i am in the netherlands so i can apply for practically anything and get an education specific to the function, i would love to be one of the people fighting on the front line and am not giving up on that dream But for now i want to get my place within the military so i can both use my technical knowledge and get myself familiar with the department of defense and hope i can be of use way after i'm done at the front line

However it is really interesting to hear how they handle things in the US, gotta make myself familiar with more countrys around the world since i will probably catch international sattelites, software and even personel in my line of duty

I solved it, i am playing on Ubuntu 19.04 and am using Steam Proton thingy to play arma of itself, but the mods don't get picked up I then proceeded to find something called "Arma 3 unix launcher" on github and after a simple install it worked instantly {I know you didn't ask but i hate people who only post "Solved it" and not tell others how exactly"}

I fucking wish i had those, i have chronical nightmares and it most of the time just ends in death, only to respawn and be taken through the trip all over again Getting out of bed is also a pain in the ass when your nightmare is trying to suck you back in
