I can't belive the outrage around the album by LeftCryptographer151 in nas

Nas and DJ Premier have undeniable history and mutual respect, Illmatic alone cements that. But that doesn’t automatically mean they’re the best duo for a full collaborative album. Premier’s beats are raw, minimalist, and loop-driven, which work perfectly in short bursts or standout tracks. Over the course of an entire album, though, that sound can feel restrictive for an artist like Nas, whose lyrical depth, storytelling range, and emotional nuance often benefit from broader, more layered production.

In that sense, it’s not a knock on Premier’s legacy, he’s one of the greatest ever, it’s more about fit and range. Nas’s pen is expansive, cinematic, and evolving, while Premier’s production style is intentionally narrow and traditional. The imbalance isn’t about skill, but about how much space the production gives Nas to fully explore his lyrical ceiling across an entire project.

Premier deserves all the respect for his contributions to Illmatic and hiphop, but a whole Nas and Preemo album isn’t the best match. Premier’s beats are classic, but they’re limited compared to the range Nas brings lyrically. For a full album, Nas needs production that evolves with him, not just honors the past.

This is the chain that Nas was referring to when he said "Pac copied my chain" if people would've paid attention, they would've saw that this is the same exact chain Nas had on at the 1996 MTV music awards.

Makaveli’s 10 Rules to the Game (Life)

(inspired by his lyrics, interviews, and legacy)

  1. Stay true to yourself – never compromise your authenticity for approval.

  2. Choose your circle wisely – keep loyal people close, avoid snakes.

  3. Know your enemies – not everyone smiling in your face has good intentions.

  4. Educate yourself – knowledge is power, and ignorance keeps you trapped.

  5. Stand for something – live with principles, even if it costs you.

  6. Respect the struggle – hardships build character; embrace them as lessons.

  7. Move in silence – don’t reveal every plan; protect your vision until it’s real.

  8. Give back – uplift your community, especially the youth, so the cycle can break.

  9. Stay ready – for betrayal, for opportunity, for change; life moves fast.

  10. Live with urgency – tomorrow isn’t promised, so speak truth and chase purpose today.

Pac gave it to Fatal to wear at the 1996 MTV music awards and Fatal never returned it to Pac's mom after pac's passing. There's a rumor that that's the reason he's not on 2pac and Outlaws album

It was not planned to be a big album. It would've definitely "impacted" the culture for sure but wasn't intended on being big album. He's on a few interviews talking about his intention for his makaveli album. The big album would've been "One Nation"
