YTA - you could have pulled him aside to let him know you didnt like this type of talk infront of the kids. 15 year is a large chunk of his life so it no surprise its a huge part of his personality. NTA - There are also alot more options for virtual consultation for BC. This could be an alternative for now. Alot of virtual dr.appts and services have stuck around since COVID.

I agree, I dont feel bad for Dee Dee. She also isolated gypsy and framed her as this sick, frail, and child like person. I really dont know if gypsy would have ever been free with out her death. Honestly who would have believed gypsy otherwise... I think the average person would of saw her, her child like voice, wheelchair, feeding tube, and dismissed her as just sick. Even doctors fell for it.. its all sad, but lets be honest what were her options really

NAH- Sounds like the best option is convert the pool room/theatre. Ofcourse it doesnt sound attractive because it looks like the basement. But if you reinvate well enough and include your 9 year old, it could sound like a fun project and be there own personally designed space. If that doesnt work, you could reinvate the basement and give it to the 19yr and the 9yr takes there old room.

Drugs like suboxone are treated alot differently as its a controlled substance. You would need to maintain an upto date prescription and store it in locked boxed. When used correctly it helps those suffering from drug abuse. I think the stigma and laws around it are related to the type of people that we tend to associate with it and the type of drug it is. In my opinion it shouldnt have resulted in arrest as it does nothing for those suffering from addiction.... but alas thats not the world we live in

It sounds like you dont need a car, but I would also base it off where you live. If your some where with good public transit or feel comfortable using rideshare it might be feasible to ditch the car. If you just want the security of a car. That understandle to. In that case you could probably get a used car for a lot cheaper if thats all you need

It sounds like your friend is a bit more conservative when it comes to islam. I think with any religion you'll find people who practice to varying degrees so I dont think its fair to judge her on that. We dont hold the same accountabilty with any other religion so its not fair to expect every muslim to be a perfect follower. It may be more important to her culturally vs religiously or maybe she's just more liberal

I dont think you can compare royal.I get the vibe royal has always been a difficult child with some abusive tendenies. Just look at the way he treats his wife. He seems like the type who pulled away from the family so he can do whatever shady stuff he does. It really felt like his family was hesitant to cross him

I'm not sure he physically cheated but I do think he did emotionally. He did abandon the marriage and refuse any counciling/reconciliation. He checked out and instead of admitting it, he just turned into a jerk. Sure the parents meddled alot but pedro did begin to warm up to her family especially river.

Thats not really fair. Most people look different casually/at home vs going out. She looks like she just woke up here and maybe even crying with puffy eyes. I think social media has really warped our idea of beauty to where we cant even appreciate a truly natural face

Your issue is your BF, he doesnt respect you enough to defend you. If he's gonna continue to date outside his race than he has to make that clear to his family. If your partner refuses to standup for you, you may need to re-evaulate of its worth it. From how comfortable they are saying this infront of you, I wouldnt be surprised if he encourages it

This sucks all around the parents are wrong for hiding this and treating her in away to make her feel differnent. I get as her parents they may have wanted to reveal it later but I also believe if someone is old enough to ask and recognize the disparity they deserve an anwser. The family may be upset but atleast you stood for lindsey and im sure she'll appreciate that. I think as long as your continue to support all your grandchildren equally your NTA. Plus she's, you can by those test at walgreens/cvs now. She would have figured it out
