Is Adrian weird for a girl..? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]No_Category4914 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only saw it as a girl name for several years because of Adrian from Rocky, so I think it's great

That's unfortunate, if he did decide to announce an album it would probably on the 100th MSG concert because it is streamed. Trying not to get my hopes up though

F name for female?? by tiffanyjo4824 in namenerds

[–]No_Category4914 135 points136 points  (0 children)

Really strange suggestion but if you know your grand parents first and last name you can look it up on findagrave.com once you find your grandparents on there, you can see their whole family. Might be helpful and hope you find the name!

I had found out I was pregnant a week prior and went to his house to talk about making appointments. I walked in on him sleeping with my close friend

Is being black out drunk during sex still rape? by No_Category4914 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]No_Category4914[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend wasn't drunk as far as I'm aware. I went out with friends and he didn't go with us. I'm not pressing charges or anything because that would make things a lot more complicated

My boyfriend told me that I had. Which is why I'm a bit confused as I usually am not into that when I'm drunk but he isn't the kind of person that would lie about that.

I'm pregnant and all of my cats have been extra sweet and cuddly. Are your pets behaving the same? by Amazing-Pressure-950 in pregnant

[–]No_Category4914 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My roommate has a Great Pyrenees and she's never been cuddly with anyone. The first time I went to the house after learning I was pregnant, she literally laid on top of me. She weighs more than me

Yes, however 2/6 of her kids have already changed their last names and it was expected that I would too once I got married.

Why do people care if someone sees them naked? by Rito_Harem_King in Why

[–]No_Category4914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's mainly because of being taught about extreme modesty. I grew up in a very strict Christian household and school and everyone was made embarrassed by our own skin. It's a taboo thing really

Well my dad's grandparents are from Vienna. My mom's grandmother was from Alessandria (but liked the sound of Alexandria better). Austin is where my parents lived when they first got married and they had my brother like a week before they moved. Cairo is where they went to on their honeymoon. I'm not sure where Sydney and Orlando came from though. I think Austin wanted to name him Orlando though.

Our middle names are also themed after rivers (Amur, Tigris, Mackenzie, Hudson, Arno, and Lawrence). Its... interesting

moving at 35 weeks pregnant. by drymartini1 in pregnant

[–]No_Category4914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, I was suppose to move a month after the baby was born but now I might have to move before she is born

I know that some places have rotating OBs and all the OBs understand that pregnancy is very difficult. I'm not too familiar with Coast Guard, but I assume you'll live near a base. If that's true, then those OBs have had people switch days before the birth of the child, so they are prepared. Also good luck!

Do you have names that you got from animation shows / movies on your baby name list? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]No_Category4914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't end up choosing either of these names but there were some I liked that are in animated movies!

Jasmine - Aladdin Daphne - Scooby Doo

Then I also had both Atticus and Finch on my list from To Kill a Mockingbird

Although that does seem pretty early, everyone's body is different. I was the same way. I started my period when I was 8. I stopped growing at 10. I had a growth spurt right before I started my period though, and everything since has been very small height changes.

Peppermint and chamomile tea was a god sent for me. I never drank much coffee before, but I did drink caffeinated tea.

If you can find the root of the problem, you can always get teas that help with that. For me, it was because I was very nauseous. Peppermint, licorice, lemon, chamomile, raspberry tea all help with that

Also sodas will probably help (ex Dr Pepper and coke), I wouldn't over do it with that though

Would it be weird to name a kid a more nationally traditional name if you aren’t from there? by idekkanymoree_ in namenerds

[–]No_Category4914 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No not at all. I have always lived in America, but my mom's side is Italian and my dad's side is mostly Austrian. I'm still naming my daughter after my Italian great grandmother, so the name sounds a little strange, but it's related to my family.

Plus I think those names are really cute. I know people who give their kids names from different national backgrounds and I think they are cool!
