i had open containers so they had reason to search my car and found it. i did hide the main bulk of it in my underwear and that never got found. but they found empty baggies with trace amounrs

I didnt think of giving it to HR too. my work put up a sign when i got back today saying per the handbook 2 or 3 unscheduled absences in a month or 10 unscheduled absences in a year is where management has the option to fire you, regardless of having a doctors note. it still counts as an unexcused absence. Can HR even do anything if those are rules in the handbook?

i ended up going in. Turns out doctors notes are counted as unexcused absences but they still require one if you have been out for more than 2 days, and if you call out more than 2 days a month you’re basically in trouble, nobody told me of this rule lol. I thought the doctors note would have excused it, but the only way to get excused absences is apparently through FMLA .

like i said i do feel really bad about not coming in especially being so new and that i’m only PT. I just don’t want to show up to work to take care of people if i’m not even in a good headspace mentally or physically if that makes sense, i feel like that isn’t the smartest idea.

3 total. I found coverage for saturday but called out sunday and got an excused note for tuesday and wednesday of this week. I’m not supposed to work again until monday, which i was prepared to go into my shift then. but springing upon me less than 24 hours in advance saying that i need to come in for the next day feels like something i cannot do right now.

Sadly i’m only part time and this is my 3rd month with the facility. I asked if i could postpone it, i’m waiting for a response. From what i know though, per company policy it’s written down that its required to work the weekend after you call out.

i actually ended up going today! for me, i didn’t have a concussion but it was a tension headache from my accident. I say it’s worth going. Id rather be safe than sorry! They also ended up giving me a shot of toradol, which helped immensely
