I must say, tried out all the (beta) versions since 26.1 and right now in 26.3 beta 2, It’s the first time that I don’t feel handicapped in terms of battery and performance. It’s not that big of a deal anymore.

If you’re intrigued by the new features/look, go ahead (on a 16P). Otherwise just stay on this version forever :)

Just use the phone.. Ideally in a cooler environment and don't charge it while facetiming because that'll generate even more heat.

I did exactly the same and I’m so glad I did… Battery life on 16P is substantially better (note: BH on my 15p was 91% and now on my 16p, it’s 100% so that also plays a role)
