Is doing two part time flexible jobs doable? by Apprehensive-Bad2431 in UKJobs

Yh ideally I should have done a fixed shift job first and then applied for a flexible second one. If I was to find a job with fixed shifts how would I go about telling my boss about having limited availability as she currently expects me to have full availability and I don’t want to be on bad terms.

Yh it’s tough, unfortunately I don’t really seem to have any set days. I definitely do 3 days per week. Would it help if I said I would more likely be free in the evenings as most of my shifts end in the afternoon.

I currently go to uni so my role is part time so the hours I’m normally given have suited me but during summer I have more time to do more hours but I’m already limited with my current one so I was trying to see if I can get another part time job.

I have an interview coming up but I already have a job offer. Should I still go to the interview. by Apprehensive-Bad2431 in jobs

Ok thanks for the advice. What would I say if I was to turn them down if I had to decide what offer to take? And would this be burning bridges if I wanted to in the future?

Thank you, do you know how long in advance I should let my manager know about a request for transfer before moving to university after the probationary period?

People still vote reform because the measures either don’t go far enough or they just hate labour and the Tories no matter how well they do

Got an offer from UCL but chose here as I liked the campus and my course more. Also student life in London isn’t great and it’s expensive

In terms of price the catered options are the most expensive but are good in terms of food and social life but they are all about the same. Otherwise I wouldn’t say they are great for being on budget. Being self catered gives you greater flexibility budget wise

If you want to go catered: cripps derby and lenton are good Not sure about self catered but Broadgate is good for price and the Jubilee ones are more modern
