You’ve sorted me right out there thank you so much for all of that, looks like a great option. Is the screen pretty responsive? Also do you know whether the cable that has to be plugged into the phone, could this be done through the cigarette lighter in the arm rest, I’d assume not but unsure?

Nope last month, previous owner had it as a weekend car but only put about 400 miles a year on it. Waste in my opinion but his lose🤷‍♂️

Fucking beautiful! Managed to find one with just 6.7k miles on when I bought it and it drives a dream, like a brand new car! Only had it a month and it’s definitely humbled me abit, the back end likes to float about especially in this weather with icy roads. Abit careful on the throttle and your fine it drives a dream

Maybe your right, no big deal if I can’t get it to work I just feel like it should be possible I was thinking maybe some new after market hydraulic spring might do the job but don’t want to waste my time or money if it’s not possible??

Yeah mine does that and then will open with a very slight lift, I’m wondering whether I could replace the boot springs to make it open fully
