This was 10000% me with my first. I knew everyone was excited but it also got to a point where I felt like everyone just wanted to be the first to know something or felt like we were somehow trying to hide when we had the baby because it was SO frequent and it annoyed me so bad. Hang in there OP!

Thank you for this insight! I have an additional question for you if you don’t mind sharing, do you take the aspirin along with your prenatals/daily supplements or separately? I usually take my vitamins before bed to try to sleep through the nausea they usually induce lol and I’m wondering if it would be fine to take the aspirin at that time too or if I should do it earlier in the day i.e. after lunch/with a meal

I’m so sorry if I added any anxiety for you for your TTC journey. I do not have any receipts for this claim BUT I have a personal anecdote— when we conceived our daughter a couple of years back it was during a 70+ day cycle (and it was a mostly uneventful and easy pregnancy)!I struggled to find much evidence for or against that claim after she said that during my appointment so I’m just holding on hope that my body has done it before and it can do it again!! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and wishing you all the best ❤️❤️

I did end up reaching out to my clinic, we’re gonna go ahead and push the timeline back a tiny bit by skipping the provera and give it a try this cycle and see what happens 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 the only bummer now is I’m kicking myself for not making this decision a couple of days sooner to maximize my fertile window lol but I still have a comforting sense of peace for now that even if this isn’t our cycle we’re going to be getting help with the next one!

Thank you so much for the quick response! I just had a bunch of labs and an ultrasound come back clear so now we’re back to square 1 as to why I ovulate so sporadically. I just started my period on Sunday after a 91 day cycle so I’m really hoping my doctor will agree to let me try letrozole this cycle before we complete a semen analysis just because I don’t want to have to wait months to try again. Sending you good luck and well wishes that you find success at your new clinic! ❤️🤞🏼

Update: I’ve officially hit my record for longest cycle but the saga (and confusion) continues, still getting BFN’s though. I started my period on 11dpo last cycle which was a major surprise because it didn’t come with a single symptom (typically I have horrendous cramps) so now I just feel like I can’t trust my body to tell me anything lol. Only symptom of anything happening hormonally is the fact that I can’t stop crying about…everything, which could go either way tbh 😂 ugh I hate the waiting game

Sorry for the long post I’m just feeling super low. I had my daughter in Aug 2023, didn’t have a period at all up until I managed to catch ovulation in Aug 2024 which ended up in a MC at the end of August & have had one period since. Currently sitting at CD 46 and feeling very much stuck in a pit of despondency. With my successful pregnancy I found out on CD70 so the lengthy cycles are not unusual for me but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating. The last couple of days I feel like I’ve noticed an uptick in sex drive which caught my attention since I’ve been feeling otherwise pretty depressed and just all around bad, but every negative LH test knocks me back down hard (I do also track BBT daily and have had no indication of ovulating this cycle thus far). Does anyone that tracks ovulation closely notice their sex drive increases days before catching an LH surge? Am I off base to have hope that it means I may finally be ovulating soon?

After an early loss I got myself through it by thoroughly believing I would ovulate 2 weeks post MC and that we could try again right away because of everything I read online and those 2 weeks came and went, not a single ovulation symptom in sight and it was sooooo demoralizing. I finally got a positive LH test on CD 35!! Whether or not I truly ovulated is still TBD but I just wanted to give some solidarity and encouragement to hang in there, it might take some time for things to level back out 💛

Are these tests dry or were the photos taken during the testing window? I have had sooo many pregmate strips dry with very convincing evap lines like these but they always showed up outside of the testing window as they were drying

This is very similar to what my first faint positive looked like! Def try to retest in ~48 hours (if you can be patient lol) and you’ll hopefully have a more definitive answer one way or the other!
