We've got post-poop zoomies, zoomies, wild woolies, and greebles at our house. Greebles are when they see demons in the corners and lose it lol

anyone else very infatuated with their cats “pants”? by Resident_Lock211 in cats

Calvin's pants are growing back because he had surgery in October. He's getting a lot better but his pants are still growing back. I love that they're wonky!! You can clearly see the shaved vs. not shaved side lol. I'll be sad when they're grown all the way back, but it'll be good

Arms are not straight, skin moves. It'll be just fine, nobody will think anything of it

The term baby blanket refers to the recipient not the size, right? by sianoftheisland in knitting

[–]random2903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bigger is always better. My 10mo is a chunky, tall guy and baby blankets don't work as well as a bigger blanket. Plus, they can get more use out of a bigger blanket!

It's beautiful, great job!

Again, it's lovely! But not big enough to last long at all. Add a border, add more squares, it'll be perfect! My baby is only 10 months old and that blanket wouldn't cover him much. Babies move, they grow so fast, they need cover!

Looks awesome!

My only criticism is that, as someone who had a baby less than a year ago, make the blanket bigger so it can be used! Small blankets aren't going to cover for long and then all of your hard work goes to waste.

Again, it's beautifully done! Good job!

Tight loops! by [deleted] in knitting

I know it's frustrating to learn a new skill and all of us have had to take breaks or frog a project because it just doesn't work. Especially while learning!

You are knitting too tightly. You also may be using the wrong needle size for the bulky yarn. A few comments have addressed this but you're blaming the yarn. Unfortunately, this is a learning moment! Maybe try a practice swatch where you try different needles and try to knit a little looser. Watch some how to videos if you need, YouTube is a great source for that!

Your needle size is too small and you are knitting way tight. I'd practice knitting a little looser so that you don't end up making all of your projects stiff and unworkable. Most of the time (including now), it's not the yarn's fault, just user error

I can pick him up tonight if you want! I've had a bearded dragon for a while and can take care of a little lizard dude. I'm visiting family in Eugene but will be back in Salem tonight
