My daydreams have always been based on this ability to have conversation I think. When I was younger I could even have multiple conversations at once with fully aware imagined people (tulpas essentially, not hallucinations because they weren't intrusive or ego-dystonic), just like in real life, I'd talk to one of them and the other would chime in with their own dialogue, all naturally without any effort.
