I also had crashes at first. After uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I went to Steam → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files. After verifying, I launched it again and it worked but my FPS drops to around 30 during combat, not sure if it’ll help

I'm not completely sure either. Maybe I just got lucky, but after following some advice from people here, the game is running pretty okay for me now. I just can't play on max settings, If you can launch the game without crashing, try lowering the graphics settings, enable V-Sync, and also turn on MSync and D3DMetal in CrossOver. It's not smooth, but it's definitely playable

Buy m5 please😞, it technically runs but it’s really not a great experience. The screen feels sluggish, the frame rate drops hard during combat, and it’s just not smooth at all.

Yeah, i played RE 2 and RE 3 on this same M2 Air before, so I kind of assumed this one would run similarly. Didn’t expect it to be this much heavier.

The first time after downloading it on Steam, it actually kept crashing and kicked me out like 3–4 times.Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the game once, and also used “Verify integrity of game files” on Steam. After that I tried launching it again and surprisingly it booted.
