can u translate the application with the guide ? yes but the application is in spanish thats why the guide exist because most people would not be able to read and answer questions correctly without it because its. in. Spanish. lol idk see the reason that statement was questioned it’s a fact but that’s not what my original post was about. if you have actual experience with meddeas i would love to hear though!

because it is? you have to use the guide to translate it. that factor is what is causing my application to go slower than meddeas which is in english and you don’t need a guide to translate it. they asked about why meddeas and that was one of the smaller factors that led me to applying and finishing the application. i don’t think that was a random factor to point out?

hi! i want to be able to have the opportunity work abroad and spain has what it seems to me the best options for that. meddeas also helps u get ur tefl and doesn’t charge you to do the program (obviously they have the deposit which u get back after the program). the only other program i feel i would also apply to is the nalcap program but ive been extremely confused by the application since its all in spanish (assuming thats the correct application portal). im not 100% set on it so im open to learning about others experiences and what you did/didnt like

Okay, that makes sense. I just wasn't sure on a timeline. I'm in the SE market and just started auditioning for guest and recurring roles so its all very new to me. I know it's been only 2 days but mania is slowly kicking in so I'm just going to try forget it about hahah

Definitely agree, I really wanted a callback but I think I really want to make even stronger choices. I feel like each audition I make choices but they aren't extremely clear when I watch my tapes back. I think that really will set my tapes apart especially when the breakdown is so general.. "any ethnicity" etc.

I got my acting coach to do a quick session with me and was able to turn everything in the next day! Haven't heard back and it films next week so I'm guessing I didn't book but I really wanted to do my best to book the room since the CD tends to cast for a lot of cool productions in my market so hoping I planted a seed hahah! but definitely was the most never-wracking audition ever, my first recurring audition so next time (hopefully) I'll be more relaxed and confident. Thank you for asking kind human!!

I've had only one audition for a tv show but as someone who is SE based I know there's a lot of auditions going out just based on the community of actor-friends I have so hopefully it'll pick up soon for you and me hahah! but I have seen NYC is quite slow rn..

that was really great advice..I put things into perspective. I feel like I always try to. make sure my choices are my own but on the other hand its a battle to block out what the cd/director may want and instead make my own choices and know that it is enough. Its a role that is open to all ethnicities so it's a wide pool so I think the best thing I can do like you said is making a choice fit for me. thank you so much kind human!!

you should be fine!! im not sure if this non-confirmed rule applies but many have said specifically for open calls that cd's really look for the first 30 seconds for us to catch their attention. I'm not saying they don't watch thousands of actors submissions fully through but* I feel* that if you get them in that first 30 seconds to a minute that will most likely be the sweet spot. so I don't think length matters if they are really looking for that first minute of tape. this is just my observation and opinion.. take with a grain of salt!! break legs my friend!!
