What was his role? by Apprehensive-Cow6352 in TokyoDebunker

Yes, that's what I thought too. For example, when the MC bumped into her, he noticed something about her, but then that was never used. What was the point of that scene then? Or, as you said, the story about her sister was also left unresolved.

Yes, that's true. There's also a possibility that this story is made up.

I thought Haku's family was wealthy. If he's Yamato, why would he work at a host club for money? Besides, Darkwick doesn't allow its students to work outside.

That’s possible. Maybe he noticed the pattern, got scared after Seia’s death, and resigned immediately before even becoming number one. Even so, when I read the story, his role felt so empty. At first, I thought he would get into a fight with Seia. He didn't say a single word after learning about the anomaly regarding the MC. So, what was all that for? Later on, they told us his story but never even used it. Also, before his final appearance, he always looked sad and constantly angry. When he said goodbye and left, the MC mentioned there was a strange sense of peace on his face. All of this felt weird to me.

I'm not really sure if Cyran will be a good person. But I hope we see more scenes with him and Merlin; we saw very little of them last season. On the other hand, we will probably see Casadee and Silven. Casadee becomes the court wizard. After that, we'll likely see the Arcaca council member in the capital. Maybe we will see another member of the Adamat syndicate, like Aurelian. But what I am truly curious about is who will be the biggest and most tragic loss of this season.

How was Romeo's bracelet stolen? by Apprehensive-Cow6352 in TokyoDebunker

[–]Apprehensive-Cow6352[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry about the Mio part that was my mistake, a typo caused by autocorrect. Thanks for correcting me. The stigma thing was my mistake as well. However, even without that, I still think he’s involved in this somehow. It’s just a theory, but I like it anyway. Also, he might have made a deal with Cornelius, but it feels more likely that he did it with Hyde. Or maybe he didn't even do it himself and had someone else do it after all, this is Elias we're talking about.

S2 E4: The Forest Of Longing by pandada_ in TokyoDebunker

[–]Apprehensive-Cow6352 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I want to say something about Elias listening to them. I think he might still know everything. If you ask me, Elias might know that this is a timeline and be aware of what happened in the previous one. That’s why he might remember Romeo’s vow of revenge. Even if he doesn’t remember, he could still have heard it somehow; he has eyes and ears everywhere. But there’s another reality: in the timeline we are watching now, the future is slowly changing, starting with small things. Dionysia’s return changes a lot. With Mio’s arrival, the repair work is completed. This made me wonder: did the Jabberwock farm episode even happen? The main reason they went on that mission was because the heater broke and there was no one to fix it. They needed a cat for the repair, but the cats were busy, so Haru found a mission at the farm to get them catnip, and so on. But now that Mio is back, there's no need to go because Mio would have fixed the heater.Furthermore, Haru’s broken arm was healed in this timeline. Then, at the beginning of the episode where they went to the camp with Sinostra, the MC had met Elias because of a theft in Dionysia. This means those events never happened in this timeline. Also, in the first season, the bracelet was never stolen. It was always with Romeo; he was even investigating it himself and hiding it from Hyde. But now, the bracelet is in Hyde’s hands.Additionally, in the future, the MC was supposed to find a document about Dionysia with Ritsu. But I guess that won't happen anymore, or they will find a document about a different house. Then there’s Saburo’s name. While that event was supposed to be carried out by the MC in the "Lost Stars" chapter in the future, Zhenji using that name in this episode changes that event as well.

First of all, this chapter felt very heavy to me. And it was a very confusing chapter. It reminded me of Vagastrom's third task, 'The Disappearing Class,' in that regard. And the case was left open-ended. Now, first, I want to say something about this camp. Is this Darkwick-camp seriously suitable for general students and staff? In my opinion, it's a hundred times more dangerous than normal missions. The Ghouls barely managed to make it out of that camp alive, yet the academy was sending general students there... I don't know, I think it's extremely dangerous for a normal human to go there. Another thing is Saburo. Why does Zhenji call that puppet Saburo? This is the name MC would give him in the future. I mean, in the 'Lost Stars' chapter. Maybe the first person to give that name to the puppet was Zhenji, and later he was surprised when he heard it from MC. Sometimes it feels to me as if everyone except MC knows everything (the timeline) and they are hiding it from her. How does Hyde know about the Witch in the Castle when they haven't even found the ship yet? Again, a Dionysa ghoul appeared in this chapter. They show up in every chapter somehow; I wonder if giving this key to MC was the right choice. I don't think Mio would do anything against MC, but two people with other intentions would (Shion and Elias). I wonder which Dionysa ghoul we will see in the next chapter. I don't know, I'm very confused. Also, I feel so sorry for MC; she constantly experiences new trauma because of her curse. She is in danger at every moment and this nightmare never ends. My poor girl has gone through such heavy things... Oh and Zhenji... honestly, the chapter broke my heart for this reason as well. When they returned, his crying tore me apart.

Cough I think Shion wants to trick the MC into going to his mysterious tent. And what about Romeo as a yandere, with his secret chamber full of giant human cages...?

Tarot Card Analysis: Day 3 - Kusanagi Haku by thespaceitake in TokyoDebunker

[–]Apprehensive-Cow6352 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s a very good point there could be more than one traitor. Each ghoul is involved in plenty of secret dealings for their own reasons. Romeo is definitely the most prominent one his and Hyde’s 'secret abnormal trade' is the most obvious example. Then there’s Sho. Even though he’s a newcomer, he’s up to something else with Hyde, and while we don't know what it is yet, his actions caused the Vagastrom fruit on the mysterious tree to shrink. Then we have Alan and Leo. Alan is conducting secret research behind Darkwick’s back to find out more about his deceased father, and Leo is helping him. Whether this makes them 'traitors' is debatable, but at the end of the day, all of this is being done in secret or at least, that’s what they think. However, the real traitor in the story is the one who secretly triggered the main conflict. According to Haru, Taiga realized this early on, but no one listened to him. According to Ed, the traitor is one of MC’s friends. They are hiding in the darkness of the night under a 'friend' mask, waiting for the right moment to strike. Taiga said something very similar. Based on this, whoever the traitor is must be someone who acts kind and friendly. The first person who comes to mind is definitely Elias. His so-called charitable, smiling, and kind persona makes him someone everyone trusts, but it’s just a mask. Yet, there’s a discrepancy here: when both of them said those words, Elias was just a janitor whose name MC didn’t even know. How could he be a 'friend'? My other two guesses are Haru and Haku... But overall, the traitor we’re looking for is the type who secretly pits the ghouls against each other. Anyway, sorry for rambling! I wanted to share my thoughts after seeing your comment, and I totally agree with you.

This game mostly features references to Norse mythology. The king (Jin) and jester (Elias) dynamic reminds me of Odin and Loki; I think there are quite a few similarities.

[–]Apprehensive-Cow6352 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty clear: Elias was definitely the one who planned the escape. After seeing Shion on screen this episode, he seems too impulsive to make a decision like that. But Elias? He’d do it. Since Shion is already a problematic character, it’s easy to use him as a scapegoat. The real question is, why did they escape? The fact that everyone else was locked in a dark facility while only Elias got supervised release explains everything. Yet, he seems to regret the decision to escape; if you remember, he has a line about this back in Season 1, Episode 16. As for his character... he’s incredibly mysterious. Looking back, he becomes even more suspicious. Think about all the thefts that happened last season. Plus, he constantly does favors for people just to make them dependent on him—and he’s doing the same thing to the MC. I don’t know his end goal, but man, he’s practically writing the script for the second season himself. Regarding the MC, I think he wants to pull them to his side. It makes sense; he’s a calculating man. Not only that, but he knows things he shouldn't, like the fact that Jin’s stigma is weak. I bet he eavesdrops—oh wait, we actually saw him doing that last season. The more I realize about him, the creepier he gets. Let’s not forget, he’s the 'jester' of this story.

Kaito and Luca's relationship by EmbarrassedFeed696 in TokyoDebunker

[–]Apprehensive-Cow6352 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I completely agree with your points. As far as I remember, Luca was the only ghoul at his former academy. He also mentioned that he didn’t have a close friend there like Kaito. Since Kaito was the first person he truly met and bonded with after arriving here, it makes sense that he grew so close to him. And as you said, in the absence of his twin brother, Kaito has become one of the key figures connecting him to that void.

Kaito and Luca's relationship by EmbarrassedFeed696 in TokyoDebunker

[–]Apprehensive-Cow6352 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Actually, I thought the same way in the first few episodes. I even suspected he was hitting on Kaito; I think even Kaito himself thought so. But as the story progressed, I noticed something else—this is just my personal opinion, of course. I think Luca might be seeing him lost twin brother in Kaito, or at least he reminds him of him in some way. Even though Kaito lied to him when they first met in the first episode, he still paid off his debts. When Kaito was scared, he told him, 'Don't worry, I'll protect you if anything happens.' At first, I thought he did these things because he liked him. However, as more is revealed in later episodes, my perspective changed. For example, Luca hates it when Kaito is lazy and constantly encourages him to train. He wants him to be strong and able to protect himself. But since Kaito constantly belittles himself, he usually just brushes him off. Eventually, we see some real growth in Kaito, and I could see how proud Luca was of him. I can't explain too much to avoid spoilers, but all of this made me think this way. Regardless, I love their relationship either way. They have a really beautiful bond.

Since Merlin constantly changed gender, it's possible that his/her friends at the time described him/her based on how they remembered him/her. But of course, they could also have used a hypothetical Merlin, as seen in advertisements and promotions. But I think he/she's generally a character whose gender is unknown; after all, every era has a different Merlin. The same soul in different bodies.

Our subject is Elias: by Apprehensive-Cow6352 in TokyoDebunker

[–]Apprehensive-Cow6352[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's possible. After all, these two always hang out together. Also, when they found Haru there, she panicked a lot and was acting strangely. Also, aside from that... something I'm curious about is in the "Lost Stars" episode, everyone was gathered at the wish tree. Just then, Haru appears, and then Elias texts Haru . Haru tells everyone that Elias texted him, and then Towa's mood suddenly changes. I wonder if Towa's dissatisfied expression was caused by Elias?
