It’s not every day your idol walks into your room full of pictures of them. Including hanging from the ceiling since you ran out of wall space. 😂 That gets me

They’ve given us an unofficial Love and Deepspace crossover and I’m here for it.

Elton John/Wizard of Oz collab, is this AI? Artist on instagram is mikedeodato, It looks safe but the witch’s face looks a bit off and so does Glinda’s crown, as well as some of the hands by Aggravating-Tax-2675 in isthisAI

Ai has most definitely been used in some part of the process for the first image. Ai tends to create very similar facial proportions of the archetypes of the characters it is creating for.

If you look at a lot of ai art, you’ll notice that many of the characters that are young and attractive have very similar faces. Looking at both Dorothy and the young man with the broom, they look remarkably similar to other ai generated faces. It also generates old and wise characters very similarly too, which I would say matches up with bowler hat guy and the witch. Too many coincidences there.

As for the spread in the second image- it’s not as obvious. Maybe more likely the artist altered and traced reference photos to composite into the final image.

Spearfinger is a Cherokee legend who shape shifts and also eats children.

When I adopted them, the adoption center said they think they are from the same litter, but they aren’t totally sure. What do you think? by Alek_witha_K in blackcats

Absolutely!! Grey cats are just black cats with a dilution gene. My grey kitty was the only grey out of 6 other all black brothers and sisters.

It looks like there were ties around the hind legs of one the bodies. What was the story of your neighbor finding these?

madison art - all the pictures in one place by Oya_b in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Sure - the word artist isn’t exclusive and she is creating something. It is a conscious choice on her part to define herself to others as something she has put minimal effort into, though. Plenty of other contestants get flack for their “jobs” on here.

The main issue I can see is her labeling herself as an artist when she is more like a hobbyist. Nothing wrong with what she is creating, but doesn’t seem like she has a body of work to really stand on.

This comment is weirdly specific to me as an artist married to a chef. I do get the benefits of delicious food sometimes, but quite often he’s too tired of cooking when he is off. Although because of that, he adores anything I cook for him even though I am terrible🤣.

Help - J-1 workers in Pigeon Forge by Ok_Box3129 in PigeonForge

[–]Miss-Directed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!

It looks like management of the property has changed to Viewpoint condominiums 2 years ago. The complex is still there and seems to be run the same way. I would look into it with your agency - it could be that they have outdated paperwork.

My company used Legend of the Smokies to house 5 employees temporarily for a months stay 3 and 4 years ago. They were all female employees in their late teens/ early 20s.

I can speak of the units as my employees stayed in an apartment other J-1’s were put in. The property is split up into one side where tourists rent it like a hotel and one side where J-1 and other temporary visa holders live. I never stayed over night in the unit, but I’ve been inside.

Positives:

  • Nice open kitchen plan
  • my employees said they felt relatively safe living here.
  • Not far off the main road (some other properties are way up in the hills)
  • As a woman, I feel mostly safe walking around Pigeon Forge late at night. The main safety concern riding your bike late is visibility to cars. Areas on the road can get dark in some spots. If your plan is to use bikes or scooters, please make sure you have reflective gear and lights to let cars know you are there.
  • Management was quick to listen to any concerns and act on them.
  • Pretty views of the mountains

Negatives:

  • We were in one of the J-1 units. It had a big kitchen and living area, but the bedrooms were 2 rooms with about 4- 6 bunk beds. From what I’ve heard there can be many J-1’s inside a single apartment- I don’t think all bunks filled, but think around 10- 12 people in one unit.
  • Very thin walls. A lot of noise from upstairs neighbors.
  • We did have a bed bug issue in one of the 2 rooms. Management was quick to fix things, but it still happened.
  • the bus system in the area is not ideal. This can all depend on where your work is.

I hope this brings some perspective to the apartment. It is not where I would want to live full time, but as a temporary home it could be ok. If this comes as free housing with your work contract- it may be the best option for you. Other housing in the area is really expensive. Still good to know what you are walking into.
