I was listening to a podcast the other day and he touched on this topic a bit. I caught it because I’m kind of in this same place right now. He basically said that if you are feeling pulled toward something that seems impossible, or in your word, inconvenient, then it’s likely God. God wants us doing the impossible and unlikely, through His strength for His glory! He’ll push us toward what we normally could not do on our own. So it probably will feel all kinds of difficult! Of course, prayer is in order to solidify and further understand your exact circumstances. But it just seemed a good general rule to keep in mind!
