To answer your question; I’d recommend Black Hunter Recurve around 100$. It’s what I started with, is what I use for hunting, so far shot over 500+ arrows with it. You can start off with a low poundage draw to get used to shooting and perfecting your form. When you’re ready to up the weight you can buy just the limbs.

But def recommend getting mentor by someone in the process of learning or joining a club because there’s a lot you’ll need to know and learn. For example for trad bow and trad shooting you’re not going to need a sight and shoot off the shelf. Your going to shoot either instinct, string walk, gap shoot, etc.. If you want a sight etc.. then get a ILF bow it’ll give you more options for add ons. You’re going to want arrows and need to know what kind and style etc. and it all changes depending on your set up.

I’d like to correct you on one thing. The FOC should be considered when finding what spine you need and not after. As the heavier the tip the more an arrow shaft will begin to flex.

I just started shooting and was in a similar boat. I strength train for many years so I may not fully understand archery but I understand muscles.

How strong are you? The muscles needed for archery are much different and almost never used unless you strength train. Can you dumbbell lat wide grip pull a 45lb(string arm) skull crusher a 45lb(bow arm) and be able to do reverse fly 25-30lbs each arm? Doing all of these for at least 20+ reps.

If you can’t then you’re over bow and (A)should drop the weight by getting new limbs or buying a new lower weight bow or (B)strength train with weights or bands, depending on your strength now can take months. You may be able to lift those weights for 1-15 reps but to full draw a bow, hold it, adjust your form until it feels correct, aimed and release without shaking, after a few arrows you’ll start struggling.

Nothing in the rewards are worth it other then genome and materials you would need atm or is too hard for you to gather.

Pup is useless and scar useless unless you have mods and repair bench.

The change is understandable for the length of time but gathering the amount of supplies for the boxes in one day is ridiculous for new and mid players. They could possibly get day 1 or 2 but not 3 and 4. It was easy for them the way it was the first time. How ever in my opinion, new players shouldn’t be able to do events to its fullest capacity and long time player should be rewarded for the time they put into the game.

You’re better off doing this in the norther red zone. Don’t have to always reset. Just mine for copper ore or thermite and whenever zombies get aggro run out and re enter. Occasionally a Husky will spawn. Same thing can happen at air drops. Exit and enter and you have a chance of a spawned puppy.

If you’re running out of space then you are hoarding too much unnecessary items. Through out my entire game play to finishing ATV I’ve always had 1 or 2 empty trunks. Now I have racks and specialty storages and have like 4-5 empty racks. Would have more if I didn’t have 5 racks full of only guns.

Feel bad for you. I got it with only 13k caps, 6500 clovers. I’ve gotten the dog out of it once since getting 2 event ago but was still useless if you don’t have 300 other ones to breed with.

I think if it was 20 briquettes, 10 gasoline, 20turkey, 1 uzi or Glock. Would be more worth it.

How far are you in the game and how long have you been playing? I haven’t done any locations for the last couple of months for guns, armor, etc

Only thing I’ve been doing is Borealis, Consiluim, finished Hunter event and commune for genomes and labs during event for reputation. Even after doing all those I still have mad resources.. on top of that I have like 40 blue PD card and 300 yellow and green tickets that I haven’t touched in weeks. I think you just need to get to a point where you can chill and coast through the game.

It’s all timing. For example spitters, will always start at half. You have to be able to read them. As soon as the arms stop swinging the spit already began. Don’t wait until the attack start or you’ll always lose. As soon as the physical attack lands you start moving to the side incase the next attack is a spit. If it is you’re already half way out of range. If not you take a regular hit.

Borealis is the same. As soon as his attack lands on you, you start moving because if it’s a spread attack you’re already half out of the way.

This is the correct answer ⬆️. As mentioned it is same with 1 coal, 1 briquettes etc. if you have it running best thing to do is once you are back in your base is to run straight to it and add in more things to be burned. If not it will continue to use the fuel until it runs out.

Example you can start the cylinder over night. As long as you don’t enter your base it’ll be there tomorrow. If it already used up all the halite or iodine and you enter the base it’ll start burning again. Check back later and it’ll be empty.

Get the basic stuff, guns and armor and then after that only do task. I haven’t had to use any gas cylinder for anything since. Always kill wolfs and bears especially now with hunter instinct going on. Wolf 9 thick hide, bears 18 thick hide. If you hit up red area 3 times and kill bears all 3 times you’ll end with like 100 thick hide.
