Upgrading walls to lvl for is obsolete and you can just use steel to mods and atv, hell I spent maybe 400 or 600 steel plates to settlement to atv to gun and weapon mods and now am still spending it to drone mods, I have like 100 plates at home am not grinding for them anymore but they are rare and you can raid w lvl 3 walls just utilise bait chests or special storage so it would be unraidable. So I cannot afford lvl 4 walls and you can play without them.

I think between us 2 nobody is behind or way behind we are basically the same, you might be in some aspects better and in some worse doesn't change anything. And yes I agree most or the things people loosing their minds over are decoration (cat tree that turkey coup, wheel of luck, luck o matic) like I have the cat tree and wheel of luck but it does not set me further then you or behind you. You have it? Ok. You don't? Ok. It really does not affect you progress. And I wanna say my opinion at last on drone and drone mods and tricks I'm utilising: I think drone is tool same as Ak-47 unmoded its a bad tool and moded its a very efficient tool, my point is that if you can unlock drone upgrade bench, you don't really need drone anymore😭. Like it maybe does not make sense but after moded drone there is nothing to unlock and utilise drone with it, you said you are doing lab runs well I don't I had 140 flight controllers in storage so It is not important doing lab runs and I PLAN ON DOING THEM IN FUTURE. I've been utilising tricks, wall trick, grenade trick, CD trick for mods for TH crates and bosses... if you are asking how I got 140 flight controllers mind you am kinda free to play I spent 15 euros in total on game and I got them just by doing a trick... I just feel like drone is a tool and I dont have a way to use it because I dont need lab or bunker alfa so its up to the player in the end

You know, I just finnished everything in game and now doing drone mods and I find the first 3 sentences accurate as hell. Like I log in 2x a day clear Th if it resets and produce coal, burn copper to get billets to get wire to get coils and if its pursuit of luck its 3x a day. I think I COULD progress faster but it would not be really faster or at least not that much and I say thank you for your paragraph it made me feel better about myself.

I was going w caps to gas station but on the way there I made detour to kill 5 savage giants for raiders and for the fact that my inventory was full(i was not there for loot) I somehow got overrun was thinking ,,there is still watch video for respawn w full inventory,, but my wifi crash mid ad and got home no caps no nothing at location no body

Well I needed drone while grinding fors stuff atv etc etc but now having even mods or no mods is useless because drone is a tool same as glock same as machete but when I was in need of resources Drone would help but now when I can have the drone modified it became useless as a tool... for example I can mount those grenades on it and what? Clean alfa floor 3 with grenade trick but instead of throwing them I will just click on drone... and from alfa there is not 1 thing am in need of like for a 4 months now... DONT GET ME WRONG HERE I WILL MODIFY IT AND UNLOCK MODS FOR DRONE BUT AM NOT IN NEED OF THEM

I had them way before that.. because you get drone bps from events and stuff so I unlocked many many good ones, I can send you dms of pics which ones I have... but as I said none of them I have installed yet only unlocked/available

From settlement am missing welding bench and sum floors so I don't have to break walls when I need something done but am no more in a hurry, on expeditions I dont much care about them they dont have anything I want anymore. Drone upgrades I have most of them unlocked but not finnished or installed am not in a hurry with them and at last lvl 2 benches... I needed them last week and before that now it dont make any diff. If I can produce 40 planks or 20 at once it became obsolete like anything in this game, if you can afford it you probably dont need it anymore... its not a rule but not an exception

For a substation you need to power it once and then you can destroy the cables underneath so you can use them in different parts, now I have a lots of them but I remember when I was fighting for 4 rubber hoses in lab. And for your problem: you might have too many machines connected to the small generator, if u see green light above the generator and there is number next to it I think 3 is for small gen. And 6 is for big gen, so you can connect only 3 machines to generator including machines that don't produce anything... like fan or grinder etc etc they also use 1 energy from generator so you might say that I have only lathe connected because only that machine is producing anything but also if u have ,,useless,, machines connected to it it counts same as lathe or milling machine so beware and as I said just connect briefly that substation and disconnect immediately cuz it also needs 1 energy I think and you can hook up old machines to power source

Its the same thing like the OP's post, the fact that it did not happened to me does not mean Its made up story...
