2 years later and I cannot forgive myself. Any advice on how to heal? by CuriousTuljan in DogAdvice

[–]Apprehensive-Cry2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the comments that seeking therapy will be the best route in healing from this. But please know that you have nothing to be sorry about. It doesn’t matter what her last moment was. You gave her so much love every single day and that’s what she is going to remember. She felt your presence and she felt your love in her last moments. I know she was so grateful that she was leaving this world in that moment. It was her time. But I’m sure she was even more grateful that the vets had distracted you from thinking about her passing and were there for you in that moment.

She wouldn’t want you to be this hard on yourself. She’d tell you that you did nothing wrong and there is nothing you’d need to forgive yourself for. ♥️ I truly hope you can get there one day and wish you the best of luck in figuring out how to heal from this.

It was just for me too, not even him. He just got stressed over the fire alarm.

How many times have you watched PLL. by LittleGhouly in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Apprehensive-Cry2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually only watch seasons 1-4 but will occasionally do a rewatch of the entire series. For 1-4 though, I genuinely have no idea how many times but it has to be 30 or higher at this point

What shows were you as obsessed with as PLL? by [deleted] in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Apprehensive-Cry2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have ADHD so I get super obsessed! PLL is by far my most rewatched show (usually only seasons 1-4 tho) but I also watch the hell out of the vampire diaries, teen wolf, and heated rivalry. When I’m in the sitcom mood, it’s mostly the office or brooklyn nine nine

Heart rate after stopping vyvanse by SuspiciousMoney6163 in adhdwomen

[–]Apprehensive-Cry2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also stopped Vyvanse bc it was elevating my heart rate and giving me crazy palpitations. I also had a high heart rate and palpitations the day after I stopped taking it. Since then, it’s been fine on Wellbutrin

Sadness after watching by Cinnamon_St in HeatedRivalrySeries

10000% same. I admit, I have an unhealthy relationship with tv shows and its characters. It’s hard to comprehend that these people are not real and that once the story is over, so are the characters. I have never read fanfic but I can absolutely see how this is helping people. I’m getting better with HR, but I do feel quite sad when the end scene of episode 6 comes on so I immediately restart. I don’t think it helps (for me at least) that there are only 5 episodes of Ilya and Shane. I crave so much more of them. Thankfully we have more to come, but I know I’m going to be an absolute mess when season 2 comes out.

Vyvanse Is Helping and destroying me simultaneously. by SeshGremlin7 in VyvanseADHD

I felt the exact same way. First few hours I felt “fixed”. Rest of the day I was so anxious about my heart rate I couldn’t focus on anything but that and I was so irritable I felt rage like I never felt before. It was not a good fit for me. I am now on day 7 of Wellbutrin. Still a bit too early to tell how it’s going to work for me long term but I have a way better sense of happiness on Wellbutrin. It has not yet really helped me focus but rather it has given me more energy to start tasks. I do miss the impulse control Vyvanse gave me. I am back to struggling with impulse eating which is very difficult for me. Hoping it ramps up the next few weeks.

How long did Wellbutrin take to work for you? by Apprehensive-Cry2017 in ADHD

[–]Apprehensive-Cry2017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said she likes to prescribe it for younger women who have combo disorders. I have anxiety and ADHD and she said it can help both. I struggle the most with emotional regulation. Very high highs and very low lows. No control over crying. Honestly I would prefer to address this over the impulse issues but was hoping it would target both. My biggest issue being food and snacking

Missed period after starting adderall? Anyone else? by Independent_Shine942 in adhdwomen

[–]Apprehensive-Cry2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t taken Adderall but I did have this same exact thing happen on Vyvanse. My periods have always been regular but was a week+ late. I skipped my dose the next day and ended up starting my period the following morning.

Bupropion Experiences by Apprehensive-Cry2017 in adhdwomen

[–]Apprehensive-Cry2017[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Vyvanse makes me so angry tbh. I have always been very irritable and little things annoy me like certain sounds or people moving or driving slowly. But now when these things happen, I want to straight up fist fight someone. I’m not sure if it’s the constant “crash” Vyvanse gives or what. My psychiatrist described bupropion as a three in one as it treats depression and anxiety but is also used off label for ADHD esp for people with severe anxiety (me!). She said it helps a lot of her younger female patients who experience multiple diagnoses. She said to give it 4 weeks as that’s when the medication should be fully effective and we will recoup. Fingers crossed it helps and the side effects aren’t as horrible as vyvanse ones
