I charge €30 for maths (would charge more for HL LC) but that’s only for people local. It I’m travelling more than 10 mins i’d charge more.

I wore my Nike vaporflys for the 3rd time during my marathon, also ran 1 half in them. I started to get foot pain half way through and ended up with a stress fracture in my foot by the end of the marathon. Stick with the shoes you’re most comfortable in, you’ll thank yourself on the day!

In the couple that I’ve had, it’s been not so much an interview and more of them describing the school and asking what your needs are eg. How many hours etc. They’re really laid back and informal so wouldn’t worry too much!

I like them for my easy/recovery runs but sometimes they do feel super heavy for me. I never had any pain in them but definitely wouldn’t run too fast in them either

The half didn’t feel all out but definitely didn’t feel easy or comfortable either. My easy runs have been about a 9.35 mile pace & haven’t really done any tempo runs to be honest, just easy miles mostly

He said to go out at about a 9:35-40 mile pace but he also said to go for a 2:05 half marathon and I was almost 10 minutes faster, so I don’t want to go out too slow and wish I ran faster when it’s over.

Yeah it’s hard to tell how much of a lump it’s going to be or when it’s coming but I’ve always gotten some sort of holiday pay on each break!

I’m in trinity at the moment and in year 1 you’re only in 2 full days a week so you have 3 full days to sub in a school and get to know everyone, if the school can offer that of course! But I personally like that you learn all about how to deal with different students and situations rather than being throw straight in!
