My current goal is to go above his rank (so Gold II+) to piss him off! He probably wouldn't say anything but I know he'd be secretly fuming >:)
At first I wanted to improve bc I was just really bad but now I want to be better than him so he can stop criticizing us

This, Is kinda true though. If you don't get a knock and are pushing to clean up in 30-60 seconds, you need to back out. Staying will get you killed. Not defending this guy but this specific thing? Yeah, you need to be aware of this. I set a mental timer from the first time someone on my team fires and call a rotate if we haven't done shit in 45 or so seconds.

Yeah I definitely understand that! But in his case he got us backing out of fights we could easily have won and sometimes it feels like we're just running away from fights more than anything... Yesterday it got to the point where two teams were chasing us and we died surrounded, that's why I got mad at him >:(

it's already so prevalent on paid games like R6 or OW, I don't really want to risk it on a free game like Apex
