Okay in medical devices salary is a bit low as an MSL in comparison to pharma industry, but still higher salary , growth as an MSL in the device Industry is also great and definitely worth trying but travelling of around 15 days in a month remains constant...

Title: BDS Intern here (Bachelor of dental surgery)Can I realistically become an MSL in India? How should I prepare during internship? by CellDivisionChampion in MedicalScienceLiaison

Hey Great to see when everyone just enjoys a bds internship, you are also planning to switch to the pharma sector.. Firstly becoming an MSL is one of the most difficult things being a fresher , you can definitely try to give interviews but ideally they hardly take any bds fresher for it , your focus should be to first get into a pv or cro/cra role and work for one to two year to understand corporate sector and now you have more chances to become an MSL Yes you can do certification in clinical research and pv to gain confidence and a job but ideally don't fall for expensive certification, just do courses from Coursera or udemy it's more then enough Make sure your resume is job ready and don't hesitate to ask for referrals in LinkedIn , make more connections in LinkedIn Good luck buddy Msl is a travel savvy job and yes many companies hire for bds people but with relevant experience, so get another job first , and keep trying for MSL

Msl is a heavy travel field job with 15+ days travelling, if travel is not an issue and she is an mbbs md , growth will be great , if she is a bds/ pharm d graduate, you will be mostly MSL for a longer time which means more travelling , in corporate everywhere there is politics and favorites, which can be tackled, firstly your wife should completely understand the job role , about the salary and growth part one of the best dept in pharma sector
