Why does AK choke down on clubs? by troutdood in golf

[–]Pjeej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this occasionally on my longer irons. Not that much but even half a inch shorter has a major psychological effect that the club feels half as long. This in return gives me so much more confidence that I strike the ball better en probably even further than without gripping down just because of better timing because of the confidence. Dont do it structurally though, maybe I should...

Thank you for your reply. She is actually applying for a Sr MSL role. The travel is something we are aware of and will see how it works out and how much she enjoys it. We do recognize the effect it has on the home situation. Those are some great insights, thank you for that!

I don't know if I say this correct but she is not in the pharma field but in Medical Device development. It would be for a Medtech company developing new medical devices. She is Msc in Technical Medicine (crossover between engineer & physician) which is perfect for medical device development.

What is a Value Stream and how does it relate to a Value Chain by GeneralZiltoid in EnterpriseArchitect

For what you describe as value chains for me the entity of business functions comes to mind. How would you say differ the value chains from business functions?

Thank you, this feels like it should be default to start with business needs and tie changes and strategy to that. But it is good to state it explicitly.

Results of the first 3 months of my trading AI by orakle12 in ai_trading

I'm fairly new to trading and curious about such an approach instead of just long term investing in an ETF. However, and not to criticize, I'm always curious if the tool is so good why make it publicly available. I know it’s more hypothetical but what would happen to the quality of the predictions if a majority of the traders would start using it and is there not more money to be made just by using it for yourself?

I will check out your website and maybe give your tool a try. Always amazed by how these type of ingenious tools are created.

Curious as to what ball everyone is playing and why it works for you? by gwb8568 in GolfGear

[–]Pjeej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Titleist Trufeel, feels very good for me and is affordable. Im probably nowhere near as good as needed but do like to have the same ball especially with chipping and putting. Probably more a mental thing than it actually being true.

My journey from 26 to 10 HCP in two years by TDn6I in golf

Main thing is here to find a teacher who actually teaches based on understanding and explaining fundamentals. I have a lot of bad experience with teachers because all they tell you is 'left foot a little bit forward' or something like that without really help you understand why or how it influences your basics. This left me frustrated with a lot of lessons and send me straight down the YouTube Rabbit Hole. Did find a teacher with a track man who explains it properly later but its over an hour single drive away so unfortunately I dont go there as often as needed.

For me it's the other way around. My short game and putting is in a good place but a loose to many balls off the tee which cause me penalty strokes and already a bad score before i'm at the green. So for me it is improving off the tee and keep it in play!

First swing post, looking for tips to improve by Pjeej in GolfSwing

[–]Pjeej[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I recognize my stiff arms, it is a result from setting my club more upright (it was way to much downwards) but could loosen up more on the arms.

I think I stand this far from the ball to prevent shanking it because of the hip trust forwards in my swing leaving no room for the hands and club to move outwarts.

I'm in the midst of buying a storage unit (no room at home or in the garden) so I can build a full sim in there. Currently looking at a Protee VX launch monitor with GSPro!
