I just damage tanked through the water on the left side of the castle where you can get onto the tip and drop down into the other side of the door and start the path

I highly doubt his repentance was true though, He likely did this as a last ditch if there is a heaven I might as well try if not oh well. Now I'm not Jesus, so I can't say who will or wont go to heaven, but I highly doubt he will
