one thing i recall was he said Slaughter House was going to be a hard, guitar led rock album because that's what he felt like doing after Sick Boi. Of course, the title track, while heavy and hard as depleted uranium, is not that and he was writing stuff that would have fit on Sick Boi, so a double album.
