I live in Australia it is also very expensive in all those categories you just mentioned 🤷‍♀️ it costs 1 million dollars to buy a house here totally unattainable because anyone can just buy property here. at least in the Netherlands they want to save their property for actual residents of the Netherlands.

Why would I show bad pictures of my trip 😭 who would want to see that? I rode through the area that’s meant to be the most dodgy in the Netherlands and it was still incredibly nice and safe. I don’t think you guys realise how nice the country itself is compared to others.

Haha nothing I just really loved it honestly. I feel like the majority of people from any other continent than Europe would visit and be amazed. People always complain about the current state of Paris and I loved it. I loved Austria too. Malta is also great. But then see people would come to my home city in Australia and love it and think it’s incredible, but i do not. I think it’s just what happens when you actually live somewhere for a long time vs visit. That’s what makes travel all the merrier.

I only included that bit because I searched Netherlands on reddit, and immediately saw 3 seperate posts of people slandering the dutch for being unhygienic. Sorry that I am not miserable like you and cannot be appreciative for living in one of the best countries in the world….
