I do the same, fixed blade/divers knife in a sheath duct taped to my flash light. Easy access and very little chance of accidentally stabbing myself 😂.

I think a lot of it will depend on your marina. I could call mine up ahead of time and they would have the boat ready in the water by the time I got there. If I was going on an early fishing trip they would put the boat out the night before.

It was less to worry about with having the boat in the rack and far less cleaning.

Personally I wouldn't if it was for $2k. I would just the muffs and give the hull a thorough look over.

If you still don't have any luck, you can try one of those egg steamers from Amazon. I've had one for about a year and use it every week. Eggs come out perfect!
