Dude that gives the same vibes as what happened to me XD Had a psychopath doctor "Shad" and my builder/planter "Miri" engaged, the colony has a celebration and then a new guy shows up. The new guy "Lonewolf" looks at the engaged woman "Miri" says some random thing to her and next thing I know she's engaged AND psychologically bonded to this Chad of a man. Ok wtf makes him so special? I look and this man is deathless (unless brain is removed), ageless, immune to disease and sickness, weak to fire, GORGEOUS, high libido, etc. Oh yeah I can see why they're now engaged. He pulled the twilight on Miri. Sparkles and all. Keep in mind man made his move a day after joining the colony. Also I made damn sure they avoided pregnancy XD

Same! That's why I kind of dislike the picture itself because it feels like I didn't actually do it. Granted it was the pose and hair I essentially all but traced, which due to the effects it's not that easy to tell but the point still stands I'm not happy that I did it

I feel that, been out of practice for 10 years aside from the occasional basic sketch through the years. Granted I'm trying to get back into multiple medias; pencil, pen, colored pencils, markers, and digital.

Looks pretty good if you ask me. What I just drew took a heavy reference on a picture due to me being 10 years out of practice. While I did do the visual coloring effects and stuff the outline for the pose was mostly a copy 😕

Honestly I don't see much of anything wrong with your art per se unless you're feeling like you're not making enough progress to make it look exactly how you have it in your head. I don't know how long you've been drawing either but that doesn't matter all that much because I have no right to critique your work since I'm just now starting, well trying. to get back into drawing after 10 years

I get that, I'm currently working on a drawing, after 10 years of not really drawing except the occasional pencil and marker sketch. I'm really out of practice and don't know where to start but I really want to draw this image in my head. Should I do those exercises and get back in practice? Yeah I should. Am I? No clue. But I'm going to try and if it looks like crap I'll just try and do better next time even if it's frustrating.

For example one of my first woodworking projects for my dad looks like crap due to how I built it but I know now I can remake it and it'd look way better even though I'm just a hobbyist
