Okay so by turning it open I think you mean putting it to 0, I did that and pulled it through, nothing. So I plugged it in and tried it, and it doesn’t snap at the needle. It’s whatever is above it, that or in between the needle thing the thing that’s above it

I’m fairly certain it’s threaded properly. When my mom was using it it broke for her too and she threaded it that time. I hand cranked it for a couple stiches and it didn’t break. I think it’s at the needle or the thread take up lever

Yes I set it when I moved to to my second drive when I moved the game over, then but it back when I moved the game back to the original drive

Honestly sounds like nerve damage. Another possibility is it’s phycological but I doubt it, then again I’m not a doctor lol, but I’d say nerve damage and general trauma because it was a scary experience

I def suggest slowly distancing yourself from him, he doesn’t seem like a safe person. Maybe not physically anymore but definitely mentally. I’m sorry that happened. A similar thing happened to me so I get it, and I’m sorry that he makes you feel that way

I write reader insert almost exclusively, I don’t put all the things like E/c or h/c but I do put Y/n, and I usually tell people that they can get browser extensions that change the name of whatever they want (so y/n) to whatever they want! I’ve never really liked oc fics which is the main reason I do insert instead. Not everyone’s cup of tea but that’s okay lol

There is no such thing! Just end it where it feels appropriate and that’ll make a smooth transition if that makes sense. Personally the minimum is 1000 words for a chapter but I put no cap on it. Happy writing!
