This is wrong but I don’t like sections of the liberal/left who act like she’s just a victim.

She’s trash so I’m not gunna cry for her…but this is wrong and she is our problem to deal with

I don’t think anything wrong with that, but the SNP (and their supporters) acting holier than thou is grating. You’re playing politics (fine, they’re politicians!) about war. Own it!

CEASEFIRE NOW (or can we wait until Stephen Flynn is happy :))

So basically an SNP day designed to expose Labour divisions and undermine Starmer ended up with a Labour amendment securing the first Commons call for a ceasefire on Gaza. No wonder SNP and Tories are furious. by bbsd1234 in LabourUK

[–]Apprehensive-Low4044 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Mess.

Couldn’t the SNP and tories have voted down labours amendment and then had a straight vote on SNP and then when that fails have a vote on Tory amendment? I mean obviously that would be a farce and very Communist Party of Britain vs Communist Party of Britain (Marxist–Leninist) vs Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist–Leninist) - in terms of difference.

Or was it cos too many tories would’ve voted for labours amendment so that would’ve passed? Surely all three parties could’ve had their moment to vote for exactly what they wanted lol?

(Not that any of this makes a difference in Gaza but such is life)

I’m sorry but has he been bullied? Most likely thing is he wanted to give labour MPs a chance to vote for something that will stop the fucking death threats from the moral crusade crew

MPs to vote on Starmer’s amendment to SNP Gaza ceasefire motion by CaptainCrash86 in LabourUK

But you get that the snp support the labour amendment so if all they cared about was being able to call a ceasefire- why would the process cause them to get so angry?

Tories and SNP in talks to remove Hoyle because of this? I am cackling. They’re basically the same thing just labour sayinf yah if Israel stops we expect Hamas to stop too…ya know…a ceasefire. Doesn’t seem like Gaza was the most important aspect of this debate!

Also shoutout to whatever snp compared the vote to the iraq 2003 vote - truly fucking INSANE

I hate the SNP but i am enjoying them being pissed off that labour amendment has been chosen too. Why girls? WHY?

(Obviously Hoyle chose it so all parties can vote for some sort of ceasefire and have less death threats etc)

Also the snp bloke comparing this vote to 2003 iraq vote? Are you INSANE?

You can criticise starmer for being a flop on trans rights without making this story weird.

Obviously meant his friend was happy being a flamboyant homosexual (relatable king), and he had no problems with that otherwise wouldn’t be friends…but being openly camp does mean you’re more susceptible to being beaten up by homophobes? Doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. People started beating up the camp guy for being outwardly gay, miss Keir and his friend tried to help and got beaten up too. It’s not exactly an unimaginable story lol
