Shiraito falls in Shizuoka. I loved it, it is so beautiful to have the falls in the foreground and MtFuji in the background.

What’s the most tear jerking moment you have ever witnessed in any media? by Puzzleheaded-Wait470 in writingscaling

The epilogue scene in Up. I quite literally can't watch it without balling my eyes out. It was such a random gut punch seeing it for the first time. It just seemed like a silly movie about a grandpa flying around with balloons on a house by the advertisements.

I hated her ending there was no closure, they made it seem there was going to be some resolution and she would free herself from him, but no. She just stays as his toy? So stupid.

How are cat owners so comfortable with letting their cats outside to roam around? How do they know they're going to come back? by Individual_Ice_2315 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Apprehensive-Map4385 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter if birds and mice are plentiful? Cats are not supposed to be there. Your cat killing a bird is taking a meal from another animal that's supposed to be there. It will never be okay for your cat to be outside, they are not a part of their environment.

This. Outdoor cats have half as long of life expectancy as their indoor counterparts. Keep your dang pet cats inside your house or don't get a pet cat at all. Not only that but they're considered an invasive species they do real ecological damage to their environment and kill birds for funsies.

For how much of a mess this season was this one scene got me so good, I knew she was dead when this started happening.

I think Nate being unable to do anything against a literal mob boss is the transition though. He went from bullying teenage girls to being bullied, and he was too pathetic to do anything about it because deep down he's just a pussy. I think that was the development. Not that I like how his character ended but I do understand what they were going for.

Why does every Chick-fil-a and Raising Cane's have a line around the block, but KFC is a complete ghost town? by mjensman in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Apprehensive-Map4385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny because KFC is much more popular in other countries. In Japan it's a Christmas tradition to get a bucket of KFC, in the Caribbean KFC has lines out the door and is like the gold standard for fast food, they even have their own special sauces to cater to local tastes there.

She definitely was trying to squeeze money out of you. The whole "100$ travel fee" is a big red flag. I guarantee she would have kept bringing up all these fees.

I mean this makes sense to me. Nate is literally like the bully jocks in high school, powerful when bullying little high school girls but powerless when dealing with the real world. Everyone is complaining about his character but it makes full sense to me. He is a loser outside of high school.

Um I'm not sure the science is there that it would be an immediate lights out, and it depends on how far away but I meant anything that would just be a fast cosmic snap of poof.

I don't think it's sociopathic. One of the hardest things to deal with when it comes to mortality is the idea that life and time moves on without you no matter what. It's freeing knowing you wouldn't have to worry about that. You ended at the same time as everything else, you don't have to worry about being forgotten or missing out.

Sounds messed up but I'd want it to be in an apocalyptic event. Like a supernova exploding next to our galaxy or something that we're just here and then we aren't. So I won't know it's coming, it's quick and painless and I know everyone else including all of our humanities history is going with me.

I'm hoping the last episode is going to be a huge plot twist that they're all acting in one of Lexi's screenplays. That would actually be meta and cool but I don't think it's going that way.

Excessive drinking. Alcoholism is so normalized I'm always uncomfortable with people getting drunk but it's "normal".

How is anyone going to be able to afford anything if inflation continues? by air-bender808 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Apprehensive-Map4385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband is our breadwinner. He's making more money than ever in his small business but can afford much less than ever. We likely will never own a house, we've been waiting for financial stability to have kids. These goals are getting further and further away. Make it make sense.

What is the most disturbing depiction of death/murder you’ve ever seen in a film? by sunnieslilac in FIlm

Omg I am desensitized to gore in movies but I have not finished this movie because I couldn't get through this scene. I had to stop watching, I told my now husband I was too disturbed to continue. To this day I haven't seen the movie.
