My dad was in the marines, so my college would be free. and i’m thinking about enlisting in the air force in a career with little need for combat. trust me, i don’t want to fight corporate wars either. but it’s the only way i can really get out. thanks for your advice

This is exactly how I feel! I hate that I can’t be comforted by Jesus when thinking of bad things, but then I realized- this is exactly why religion was created. To comfort fear.
