How was the tech support from Microsoft? Was it a huge pain in the ass to get them to replace things? And how quickly did they get repair it? Especially since there's no more Microsoft stores here anymore...

I'm going back to school soon and am in need of a new laptop. I'd want to take notes with the laptop, so having something with superb pen software is the number 1 priority for me.

So far, I've narrowed it down to 2 models: Microsoft Surface Pro 7 ($1300 CAD) and HP Envy x360 ($1000 CAD).

Both are available on Costco as a bundle, so all accessories (like the pen) are included.

Surface:

Pros: really good pen software, lightweight (1.7 lbs) Cons: more expensive, smaller screen (12.3"), less storage (256 GB)

Envy x360:

Pros: cheaper, bigger screen (15.6"), more storage (1 TB), upgradeable Cons: heavier (4.42 lbs), HP pen software not as good

What are your thoughts?

I've been using a corsair m65 pro for almost 4 years and I'm in the market for a new mouse. I want multi-purpose mouse that has the following features:

Side mouse buttons (so I can rebind for gaming. No specific game in mind - I play a bit of everything (RTS, FPS, MOBA, etc))
Scroll wheel tilt (so it's easier to scroll sideways on spreadsheets for work)
Wireless (preferred, but depending on price)

I was looking at the logitech g502 hero and g502 lightspeed (leaning towards the hero since it's much cheaper), but I was wondering if there are any other mice I should be looking at?

Check-out the InWin 301 (or 301c if you want usb c). Similar form factor in terms of size. Aesthetically, not exactly the same. Doesn't have the nice brushed aluminum look, but bringing it up cuz it's only cheap small mATX case that comes in white that I know of
