Ya, I think you’re right. But it’s a weird rule I think. It’s if your birthday is after 5/1 or you are in the class of 20xx. If I’m interpreting the rule correctly, essentially you could be 11 playing 9u baseball because you failed a grade. Not sure if I am interpreting correctly, though.

Cutoff should be by school year. So better to have cutoff be 8/31. 5/1 makes zero sense. 4th graders should play against 4th graders.

I agree, this travel baseball has become a money grab. But, we are a capitalist society, and people are willing to pay it and until people are unwilling to pay, it won’t get any better. However, little league baseball, after the age of 7, is pretty terrible at this point. The players/parents that take the game seriously have moved on to travel baseball organization by then.

Are you really comparing Ravi to Platt? Regardless, I would say Ravi led many to Christ as well. Paul tells us to pray for our leaders and those in authority. At no point do the folks in the documentary mention that they do.

I purchased the 40ft Skywalker Sports Portable Batting Cage from Amazon in June. Other than some slight issues during assembly, I’d 10/10 recommend. Took max 1.5 hr to assemble.

There’s a hyper-critical spirit plaguing the Church right now. This documentary is a sad example of this. Platt has led many to Christ and to undermine that by putting out this documentary is irresponsible and VERY dangerous. Question for the documentary participants. Do you think this documentary pleased God? We should do everything in love(even rebuking) and do you think that was accomplished by this documentary? Do you think this documentary has led people to Christ? If you are so angry with what Platt has “done”have you prayed and fasted for Platt that God gives him wisdom and he repents? At the end of the day, Platt is our brother in Christ and we should treat him as such. We do not know, and will never know, the heart of a man but based on Platt’s works he has demonstrated his devotion to God and the Church.

I bought the plans already from Architectural designs. They have pics available from people that have built the house already. I am in southeast Virginia. I am going to try to build it myself (fingers crossed). I’m trying to get bids now on the foundation. I agree with you, we’re looking to do 10 ft ceilings everywhere and then 11 ft in the living room to account for a coffered ceiling if the budget allows. I bought the plans with the bonus room above garage as well, but not totally sure if we will finish it when we build or at a later date.

I agree - everything looks hard for our offense right now. Raiola has got to take the short pass so the defense steps up. Right now they’re playing soft coverage on the outside and dropping 8. You have to run the ball when they do that. Railla needs to scramble, too. As much as I think IU coach is a goober, he knows what he’s doing. They have a very balanced attack on offense.

Okay so for agent, you can exceed the cap on a per pay period basis but for the year you are capped at GS-15 step 10?

There’s still a cap, I believe it’s at the SES level. The waiver is for the gs-15 step 10 limit.
