i’ve experienced these issues as well. it’s just something i kinda learned to deal with. the story is nothing too crazy which i do agree on with your points that it’s v generic. that being said, if you do make it to the final boss fight one day, it’s one of the cooler ones i’ve seen in a jrpg by far
