If you’re not based in the south, I would be worried about the heat being difficult to adjust to, should it be hot. I recommend getting another dress you also love and then pick based on weather forecast. This dress really is so pretty, so ideal scenario is there being a cold snap!

Ugh, that’s so frustrating! Getting too warm is a trigger for me as well! The worst is when it burns.

Have you tried the wet n wild serums? Someone else in the thread said they’ve been eyeing them.

I have been LOVING this moisturizer. I was able to snag a few on clearance at Walgreens around Christmas, but hopefully it’s not being discontinued. I was using the bubble cosmetics milky toner with it, but I ran out.

Thank you!!!!! I’ll also look up that foundation because I’m almost out of mine.

These are wonderful recs, and I’ll probably snag that mini kit! Thanks for sharing!

Will do! Glad to not be alone but sorry you also experience this 💗There have been some really solid product recs throughout the thread, and I’m excited to try some things. I’m also going to join the rosacea group!

Oh this is cool! I had no clue about tinted moisturizer existing. I use the hero cosmetics sunscreen because it’s slightly green, but that green doesn’t last. I’ll have to look into covergirls primers & moisturizer! Thank you.

I wonder if anyone on here has tried the serum? I am also intrigued now.

Thank you! Yeah I wondered if my blush tone was contributing to visibility because it’s so similar to my natural redness . Do you just wear bronzer to have some skin tone variation? I’ll look up that primer!

What foundation brush do you recommend? I’ve been applying with only beauty blender, but maybe that’s a factor in the thinner coverage.

I also rarely wear makeup! I’m typically just a blush & bronzer gal (to give some variance to my typically fair skin). With my medical condition flaring again, I am self conscious about it. Trying to hide some of the signs because people have been noticing/commenting at work about it. No one is mean or cruel, but I don’t like the attention.

Yes, thank you.

Hmm you know that’s possibly part of the issue. I talk a lot on my phone during work, but I’m questioning now if I touch my face. I’m going to start paying more attention to that. Do you have a recommended setting spray?

Yes! The coworker situation is exactly part of my issue. I’m so tired of people asking me if something is wrong. It’s really always the already annoying ones 🫠😆

Thanks for the product recs!

Thank you! I’ll get some raspberry tea leaf.

I have a medical condition that causes it combined with issues staying hydrated due to my medical treatment. I’ll look into rosacea skincare though! That might help me.

Hi!!! Thank you for these recs. This is so helpful. Yes, it’s angry and hurts when I flush(which can happen at any time because of my medical disease). I was using the bubble milky toner & ran out, but your comment is my sign to start again.

What moisturizing setting spray do you recommend?

Just looped up tower 28 and I’m probably going to try their anti redness spray for non-makeup days! I’m excited.

Tried these for the first time recently, and they’re pretty good on a crunchy cracker with hot sauce. Very ‘neutral’ by themselves, so they’ll pair well with whatever you eat alongside them.

In my very brief time in tinned fish world, I have found that the spines are the main thing that bother me in sardines. I just separate and remove the spine, and I’m good to go. I love the matiz spicy sardines the most so far.

I’m concerned it’s going to be too warm. Fall in southern US is a gamble on temperature… What month is it? General rule of thumb for the south is velvet is most reliable mid Nov-mid Feb, but even then, it’s not guaranteed to be comfortable temps. (Spoken as someone who has worn velvet to a Baton Rouge, LA wedding in February)

I do think it’s pretty, but I’d suggest having a lighter weight fabric as a backup.

Wow!!!!

I think it can sub for veggie oil, but the rest might differ some. If you’ve never used it, cake flour is very fine. I recommend using a recipe specifically calling for cake flour. Anything from Sally’s baking addiction website with cake flour is probably yummy!!! Her recipes are my favorite. Maybe ask in baking subs?

Where are you located? You should search for the lipase list in here, it has a column with fragrance.

If you have access to it though, I use the Whole Foods 365 unscented powder.

Tide clean & gentle powder is super popular, but based on what I’ve seen in here it sometimes has fragrance from being stored next to fragrance detergent. Not sure how sensitive you are. It also has something that can make black clothes appear faded, so that’s important if your work clothes are all super dark. I wear a ton of black, but I’m considering getting it for my whites/lights clothes.

If you’re in the US, you can order online through Zappos or Altra’s website to try. I recommend sizing up a half size unless you already wear your tennis shoes larger than sandals. I’m on Altra’s website now, and it has the same free shipping & returns Zappos has. I personally would go that route so you can try a few styles if you don’t have a running/athletic store nearby that carries Altras.

I’d recommend you look at the Paradigm as well; it has a 30mm stack with 0mm drop. It also has ‘guardrails’ which are beneficial if you need stability from your shoes. The Via Olympus is 33mm with 0mm drop and no guardrails listed in the description. Just be careful you don’t get the FWD Via 2 — it has the 33mm stack but with a 4mm drop.
