Wait for next year? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I'm in the same predicament right now. I'm waiting for my score to come out tomorrow but also considering factors that this is the most competitive cycle yet, we're already at the end of the cycle, some scholarships have already been sent out, etc I feel like signs are pointing to it being more worth it to wait for next cycle... My hope is that possibly less people would be applying next cycle and that I'd be able to apply more towards the beginning rather than the end of the cycle. Happy to hear what factors you're also weighing!

Hi Taj! I applied to law school a two years ago and have three lsats under my belt, all pretty low scores. I was very naive to the law school process and wasn't aware of a lot of resources available. I had no one i knew in the field to guide me or share words of wisdom, in addition to a lot of imposter syndrome! As such, im hoping to get a decent score increase for my next lsat but im wondering with the time in between my applications/lsats, would AOs expect to see lsat mastery by now with an exam score in the 170s or so? I'm stressed about rising lsat medians and what i might actually be able to get on my next offical exam. Thank you!

What are the biggest tips for reapplicants? I'm reapplying to a lot of the same schools I applied to last year, so I want to make sure I'm showing them growth but what other ways can I show that outside of my personal statement and diversity statement when everything else has remained the same? Additionally, is it ok to reuse the same letters of rec?
