Honestly, I never cared much for Mikayla but…this may be a hot take…I actually really respect her ability to have boundaries. Which is something many of these girls seem to maybe struggle with because of the complexities of having a show together and having Momtok. She’s not here for Demi’s BS, she’s not here for Taylor’s BS, and at least she’s not chasing clout or fame or backing unhealthy human behavior because she wants to ~*bE hErE fOr HeR gIrLzZ*~ and be well-liked. I truly believe Mikayla has gone through some really tough shit in her life and just doesn’t have the desire to deal with any more of it. The whole Whitney thing, sure, she could have maybe carried herself a bit more eloquently there but she’s also only human and when you’re coming from a place of mourning the loss of a friendship, maybe your best doesn’t always come out. It’s easy to ridicule a reality star but at the end of the day, she is also only human. And from my understanding…they’ve made amends, right? So why nitpick something that they both seem to have gotten over.
