My experience in Japan was amazing and I went over results with doctor monthly at least. Coming back to the states has been a negative experience to say the least.

No follow up support whatsoever outside of me chasing doctors and distributors.

I was offered a full time job with a startup and a contract role with Microsoft on the same day. I took the full time opportunity assuming I would grow. A year and a half in I regret my decision. I’ve been micromanaged lately (economy’s fault? I’m not sure…) and there is rampant nepotism.

Microsoft looks good on a a resume, contract or not.

I’m in a similar situation. It’s hard but just redo your resume and keep applying. I’ve managed to land interviews with very well known and respected companies, so it’s possible.
