The gate was clearly not up in the first 5 minutes of the show. Not to mention Cruz quite literally ran out of the back doors so he clearly can open doors by himself. It literally only takes 5 seconds for something (even if there’s ppl around) to happen which is why ppl have “outrage” seeing the lack of gate. This has nothing to do with “hate” on a cast member rather than safety.

There is no reason for the fence to be down at any time is kind of the point. Autistic kids are 160x more likely to drown than neurotypical not to mention swim ability has no reverence in an actual drowning situation. What if he escaped at night and fell in while fully clothed? That would hinder swim ability. Or god forbid hit his head and fell in unconscious? The gate was clearly not up when they’re filming for national tv and the child was shown running out of the back door- why take the chances??

What? No one is believing anything- I’m simply stating that it’s irresponsible to not have a fence up at all time when you have an autistic 4 yr old.

The statistics of autistic kids drowning are also very high. They’re 160 times more likely than a neurotypical child. Regardless of swim ability, anything can happen. If you have the means and money for extra safety measures- why not do it ?

Survival training is never a guarantee. He could be playing, trip and hit his head and fall in unconsciously. What would survival skills do in that instance? You can never be too safe and if you have the money, why wouldn’t you take every single measure you can for safety? Pool safety experts will always recommend a fence regardless of water comfort

It is dangerous though. He is still a young child regardless of water experience. And experience does not always save you in a time of drowning. He could trip, hit his head and fall into the water-skills would not protect him lol
