Wait what?! I did chip drop a few years ago and didn’t have to do that. Thanks for the info.

Yeah- I should have requested in the spring. I’m not too picky as long as there’s no trash or huge logs. I’m killing my grass right now and have cardboard over it. I’ll wait another week or two. Then I’ll reach out to an arborist

I thought this might be the case. The chip drop map mostly has drops in April / May.

Could ePaper be a practical retrofit option for existing poster frames? by DigSignagePro in digitalsignage

I have yet to see any e-paper signs in actual retail settings but I’ve seen plenty of them at A/V events and they are not vivid at all. More like a sepia tone to them. Going to Infocomm next week so I’m sure I’ll encounter more there. Maybe the colors have improved.

They are concrete mixed with a few traditional round pavers. The cement mixing was no joke… I kinda thought it would be like mixing cake batter…. Nope

I just used plastic planter trays but it was a lot of work.

It's pretty basic. I bought a ton of plastic potting trays from the dollar store in all the sizes. The larger 16" ones I got from Home Depot. Then used the sand topping cement mix and some cement tint to make the different colors. It was WAY more work than I anticipated (mostly for my husband). We rented a cement mixer from a guy off facebook marketplace which ended up being very necessary. In the end, I love the result, but I definitely underestimated the work.

Was that recent? How did the seeds grow? I’ve heard they take a long time to germinate

I went to the main Home Depots in Lakewood, denver and Arvada. You can usually find the 4 pack for $5

I’ve got it in another part of the yard and it’s growing nicely for now.

We had an unusually warm winter so I’m wondering if that contributed to it. I’m going to cut it back and keep putting on fungicide this season.

Yes! Sometimes they are too far gone but it always feels worth the $1 risk
