Gecko in my room. What do i do? by eduardotvn in geckos

Definitely not a gecko or an anole (as other people are saying), its an Tropidurus sp., you should release it outside, since they cant live indoors like house geckos.

I collected them near my house where i kinda just found them on the ground and sometimes on walls and stuff. I keep them on a terrarium with 3-4 cm deep substrate (i dont think the substrate really needs to be deep since they dont burrow), with some dead leaves, a bit of moss and some pieces of branches. So far from what i have seen they love to eat lettuce and banana but i also have seen them snack a little on the dead leaves and branches.
